"Plan/Outline - Goals - Progress"

This thread will serve as a general discussion on how all the parts fit together and to be able to plan head...

Also, please post your goals and progress below and we'll hold each other "accountable".

Outline

- Be comfortable installing Amazon, BB/BBX2 and Fatty. Understand how to install them and use SSI to put dynamic content on pages.

Realize that these skills can be used in tons of ways and aren't limited to Bomb scripts.

- Understand RSS. Know where to find pheeds. How to create your own. How and where to submit your own pheeds. How to use RSS to cross-link your own resources.

- Using RSS for content and making sites: ZZ Tuel and BlogBomb.

ZZ Tuel is designed to be used on free and cheap hosting, doesn't need php or a working cgi-bin.

- Extreme Content Spinning using Superlistz and Replacez, including how to mass produce web pages, articles, blog posts, RSS pheeds and more.

- Various MASSIVE SEO and Web Maitainance using assorted Tuelz.

ONGOING:

Your goal is to constantly expand your network.

- Every week, do as many of the below as you can:

- Ask yourself: Can I afford to buy 10 new domains and get a new host? If yes, do so and make 10 sites using any Bomb, Wordpress installer, etc.

Use only cPanel/WHM sites RESELLER ONLY.

Learn how to mass install subdomains.

Also, learn how to set up "skeleton" directories.

- Make 100 Blogs using the RSS Blogger program in a week.

- Create 5 new Social Bookmarking Accounts for EACH OF the 12-15 most effective services. The Sofware "Bookmarking Demon" is recommended, but not needed. Requires use of proxies.

- Collect content, preferably original articles or PLR. As you collect content, spin it to use on your network.

- Exploit various free resources...Concentrate on resources that allow you to import and export RSS.

- Maintain database/text files of all your RSS pheeds. Plan ahead to be able to add new pages to your linking network.

- Work hard on one other linking method on the Linking thread.

- Build a couple of GOOD Squidoo lenses and/or Hubpages.

Note: Remember when using free/external resources - The higher the reputation of the resources, the higher quality your content should be.

Squidoo and Hubpages both have good reputations, so you want fewer of these, but higher quality.

Also, you don't have to put your adsense and affliate info everywhere. Instead, be picky. Only put it on your Gold/quality sites.

Remember to push traffic and links in a <mostly> one way fashion:
tin => sliver => gold
low => medium => high quality

-Boom boom boom boom.

1. "RE: Plan/Outline - Goals - Progress"

Six - Eight Week Goal

About Jan 1 - 10, all of us should have accomplished these goals:

350 - 500 tin sites - Any combination of sub domains, blogger blogs, WP blogs, free hosting, etc. These should be built with spun PLR, RSS, Fatty, articles, etc.

20 ( x 15) Social Bookmarking Accounts - Your goal is to have 20 user accounts at the most effective 12-15 Social Bookmarking sites. You will need to use proxies and various email accounts.

10 Squidoo Lenses and Hubpages - Good quality, silver sites

2 BombSquad Teammates - If each of you bring the above to the table, you'll have a lot of power.

Numerous RSS pheeds being created for submitting/pinging.

Above is the basic foundation.

After these goals are met, devoloping a gold site or two is next, using your foundation to push links and traffic.

You'll repeat the foundation strategies that work best for you and exploit various linking strategies.

As your network grows, so will your power. In addition to "gold sites", you'll be able to drive people to squeeze pages, affiliate pages, paid survey pages, etc.

Create a network of 1000 resources of your own, and it isn't that hard. Manage it with RSS and use multiple Social Bookmarking sites for promo, then team up with others that can match your assets.

You'll instantly be able to create 30 links to tons of long tail pages, which is all you'll need to get ranking/traffic for less competitive pages. And you won't be leaving fingerprint patterns when linking, as you'll have access to so many resources.

We'll discuss the specifics in future posts...

-Boom boom boom boom.

2. "RE: Plan/Outline - Goals - Progress"

Kurt, would this be an appropriate place to put requests for teammates?

My only concern is how to match up members with equal assets?

There are very few bombers on here that know or realize who their best partners would be. Kurt, you have a better idea than the rest of us and might do well as acting as a coach.

I think teammates need to be aware of the characteristics of their potential partners in the following areas:

white hat, black hat, don't care
IM strengths and weaknesses
sites with adult content

I am sure that there are other things that are important, but those are some of the things that will cause some friction.

Three reasons I think it is really important that people team up:

1. Some resources are great shared like social bookmarking accounts. It helps to dedupe them if three different people are posting to the same account at different times, instead of one person posting daily to the same account with urls from the same domain.

2. Some resources have been automated or extensively tested that the next person may not want to commit to like finding servers that work with certain scripts to building lists of trackback friendly urls or free hosting resources.

3. Some resources are sitting idle on member's desktops. Submitting work from others helps dedupe what I call the submission stream. If someone wants to find a pattern in the last 100 submissions or accounts made it will be nearly impossible to identify your personal sites if you mix it with sites from others (you can change everything from IPs to templates except for the fact that the submissions being submitted are all streamed in from you at a particular time).

   Hi Kurt!

Thanks Kurt for initiating this! As a newbie here, I have indeed start to feel lost and overwhelmed. The plan you gave looks pretty good, but will you be going into details on it?

How do I create pheeds? Is it using blogbomb?

how do I use PLR articles?

What should I use blogbomb for?

How do I automate things? getting all these done seemed like a lot of work. If I got 2 hours a day, what should I do in this 2 hours that are very important and crucial to success?

These are some of the questions I got at the moment.. as for my plan, my goal is to reach $100 a day in 3 months. I'm doing $10 a day now with 100 sites. I have added 3 fatbombs into the network, I will be adding another 3. I have yet to understand how to use blogbomb in my network.

More detailed explanation and examples will be greatly appreciated.

Christopher

Hi Chris,

I posted an outline of what we are going over now and will in the next 6-8 weeks or so.

And let's use this thread for goals, etc...So, I'll restate your questions as goals:

1 Master using BlogBomb

2 Master all the ways to create an RSS pheed.

3 Master different techniques and strategies for using PRL articles

4 Learn How to Automate

>If I got 2 hours a day, what should I do in
>this 2 hours that are very important and crucial to success?

This is a lot of work...However, SEO/SEM is "front loaded", meaning that 90% of the work is up front.

The goal here is to build a solid foundation so that as soon as you post a "money" page, you can get it indexed and traffic almost instantly.

Top Hat is performing a number of experiments and we're following based on the findings.

If something doesn't get results, we're not putting it in the plan. However, if we say that you should set a goal of having 10 accounts for EACH of a dozen Social Bookmarking sites, that's because it works.

Same thing for building Blogs with RSS Explosion. This is also working.

If you have 2 hours a day for 6-8 weeks, I say budget your time:
40% on building a lot of blogs, lenses, hubpages, etc
30% on using Bombs/Tuelz
30% Learning/misc

Here's Chris' Goals:

1 Master using BlogBomb
2 Master all the ways to create an RSS pheed.
3 Master different techniques and strategies for using PRL articles
4 Learn How to Automate
5 Build tons of blogs, lenses, RSS pheeds, hubpages, etc.
6 Create 10 accounts at 12 different Social Bookmarking sites

OK Chris...Let's start with Number 1 Mastering BlogBomb.

Please post your questions in one of the BlogBomb threads atop each page:
1 Installing BlogBomb | 2 BlogBomb Admin | 3 Finding Pheeds | 4 Putting RSS on Pages: SSI and htaccess

   Hi Kurt and all,

Thanks Kurt for advise, it has been useful. Have been busy, I'm back now..

Reading through all the new threads, it has been eye-opening. I got many questions, dunno where to post them, so I shall post them here.

- for setting up my network by signing up to many social bookmark and blog accounts, do I need proxy or something to do that? Or i can just sign up many times? For blogger and squidoo, do I create 10 blog/lens in 1 account or 1 blog/lens per account?

- kurt you mentioned creating a pheed in another thread. I don't understand. are we updating our network by grabbing rss feeds from various place or do we need to create a pheed with our own content? PLR or unique articles then?

- how do we update the network easily? I'm not sure how we can feed a rss feed into a blog as blog post. do we need to get a third party software to do that? is there any scipt in here that can do that? I'm short of budget to invest in another third party software, so wonder if we could use anything here to do so..

Thanks for advice..

Christopher

>squidoo, do I create 10 blog/lens in 1 account or 1

Mix it up...But you should be able to get 5-12 per account, dependant on the quality.

>- kurt you mentioned creating a pheed in another thread. I
>don't understand. are we updating our network by grabbing
>rss feeds from various place or do we need to create a pheed
>with our own content? PLR or unique articles then?

PLR and unique content is fine. You only need a one item feed for now, you just need to establish a few URLs to different pheeds and try to have every resource be able to add one or more of the pheeds. This won't always be possible.

>- how do we update the network easily? I'm not sure how we
>can feed a rss feed into a blog as blog post. do we need to

If you make sure from the start that every possible resource can pick up one of your main pheeds, all you need to do is update that pheed. As you add more and more sites/blogs/pages to your network, you will update your RSS pheeds to include links to these new resources.

If you've joined recently or are getting caught up, here's the general plan for you based on the most recent info.

Testing from Top Hat shows that the RSS blackhole combined with RSS Submit software is bringing in the best results.

Note that this could change in a minute, but for now we go with what we know best.

As of now, you will want to:

-Learn Scrubz and ZZ

-Understand RSS completely - Including how to make an RSS pheed

-RSS Blackhole - Learn to create QUALITY blackhole pheeds

-Create sites and blogs using your RSS blackholes.

-Submit and ping each blog using RSS Submit.

-Social Bookmark as many blogs as possible.

-Boom boom boom boom.

8. "RE: Plan/Outline - Goals - Progress"

Hey All...

I just got done talking with Top Hat Bob and was checking on his progress...

He's been building a bunch of blogs and since this forum started, many of his "splogs" now have a PR of 3 and 4.

I can't give away his secrets, but I can tell you some things and maybe Bob will add a comment or two.

This has been repeated somewhat above, but as of now, the following is getting grrrrrrreat results.

Blackhole - You need to create a GGOD blackhole RSS pheed. It needs to have 1000's of lines of content to be mixed and matched. This is so it can supply a big part of your network with content.

You don't ping the blackhole pheed directly. Again, the blackhole is used to generate basic content for your blogs.

Blogs on different IP addresses - Top Hat has a system that I won't reveal. You need to find a way to get blogs and sites on a variety of IPs/hosts. Use the free resources and web 2.0 sites to diversify your IPs.

You'll also need to update many of them each day for a month or two...Use the blackhole as well as Tuelz content spinning.

Suggested software: (one or more)
Easy Blogger Creator
Smart Auto Blogger
??? (Kelvin suggested a blog maker)

RSS Submit - Instead of pinging the blackhole directly, as other blackhole strategies suggest, use the blackhole to feed your blogs, then submit your blogs pheeds to all the directories using RSS Submit.

As your blackhole pheed is posted to your blogs, each blog will then ping the directories automatically, using the IPs they are hosted on. You just need to submit all the pheeds to the directories FIRST.

Bookmarking Demon - As your blogs are created and posted to, each should be bookmarked. Use only the 8-10 services that are easy, meaning you don't have to log into an account to start the service.

Learn how to create accounts quickly and automatically.

The hammer away at getting each blog social bookmarked.

Add in another linking technique from the Linking thread to diversify your linking pattern.

If done correctly, you can build a network of 100's of blogs, each indexed and with a pretty good PR in a few months.

Now think about having 100's of blogs/sites, each with PR...

You can send link juice or traffic to gold/diamond sites, or to "review" pages that link to affiliate programs.

Many long tail keywords only need a few links decent links to rank very highly. And with your network, you'll be able to create tons of these type landing pages and still use a unique linking fingerprint for each...

-Boom boom boom boom.

9. "RE: Plan/Outline - Goals - Progress"

   Thanks Kurt,

I think you just gave away all my secrets

Seriously, all I did was follow Kurt's examples and repeated them over and over until I could recognize a pattern to automate.

Once you get to the automation level, it's set and forget and then start a new niche.

Re-working the black hole feed is key to Kurt's plan.

It's one of those "the ends justifies the means" tactics.

Pinging the the black hole feed didn't work for me. I have tried it with other programs for months without a single backlink.

The influx of Pete's programs reassured me that I was on the right path using free blog resources.

Put the two strategies together and now ping the post that the black hole feed creates.

That converts a dynamic feed into a static page that can then be promoted.

If there is one thing that quickly gets automated, it is blog post promotion. Everyone has a system.

It becomes easy when you do enough of them and start to see patterns.

When you see something that breaks the pattern, you go back to the black hole feed and re-work it so it meets your needs.

I started off with feeds that made Kurt come up with a new site classification - plastic. Some still are but most of my feeds are evolving into mini-sales letters complete with embedded affiliate links.

Kurt's system works and can be replicated in any niche:

1. Create unique content in an RSS feed and distribute it - black hole script

2. Then redistribute the feed where you posted it - free blog rss feeds

3. Promote your free blog posts - social bookmark

4. Promote the pages and feeds from sites that pick up your feeds/posts - social bookmark rss feeds

5. Repeat the cycle over and over until you can automate it or outsource it.

6. Monetize the sites that rise to the top.

That's where I am right now. Step 6. Your sites will gain pages in the SERPS and PR. Some more than others. Who knows why? I can pretend to tell everyone I know the secret and post the urls of a handful of PR4 and PR3 blogs created with this method but for every blog that rises, many don't ever make it into the SERPS.

Every member has the same tools and strategies posted here to create a network of PR3 and PR4 blogs with 1000s of pages in the SERPS within a couple months on free hosts.

Hi,
I would like to make sure that I have understood this properly.

So, first we create the rss feeds as kurt explains -- say the tin.rss or silver.rss .

I am not sure though about what Top Hat Bob means by creating feeds with unique content?

Bob, do you mean the same thing as kurt says-- like tin.rss or silver.rss or is it something else?

So,we use these feeds to create blogs or different sites on some free hosting and when we post these feeds on a site ,then we create a feed for that site too and again add it to our list of tin or silver feeds.
and.. umm.. I am getting confused again. I really have to do something about this small brain of mine.

Okay, I am not much clear about how to do the steps 1 and 2 in Bob's post. I think I got the rest of it,though.

bye,
faraz

Think of the tin rss feed as the feed you create with the black hole script.

Then when it is on an actual page with some other content, it becomes a feed for your silver sites.

Or you can point the rss feed from your silver sites to the same blog that the black hole script is feeding.

The idea is to use the black hole script to start creating content for a blog or website. It is nearly instant compared to many other methods and very scalable.

It gives you some momentum to get going and when you look back after a month or two, you will start to see blogs that are indexed, ranking for keywords and might even have some PR.

You have to remember I look at things from the bottom up. Kurt starts in the middle and that Matt guy starts at the top.

So if you are following Kurt's plan, you will have some Squidoo lens and Hubpages built with some decent hand written content.

You would use those feeds to get links to your free blogs. The problem arises when you only have a couple silver sites and 100s of blogs. That is easy to do when using Pete's programs that Kurt provided or many other scripts.

You still want to distribute your Squidoo feed but you also want some other content on those blog pages to draw in extra spider traffic.

Your lens might be about pets. If you make up a couple black hole feeds about cats, dogs and fish you now have LSI content on your blog alongside your links back to your Squidoo page.

Black hole feeds are like guest bloggers that write exactly what you want but never the same paragraph twice.

Hopefully that helps a bit.

HI,
I need some more help now.

What I have done till now:

I have created my black hole rss pheed.
I have used the pheed in the blogger by putting it in the feeds section.
I have social bookmarked the blogs I created with blogexplosion software.
I have dug my site and then I pinged the page that was created on digg.

Now, I want to know, how to proceed further.
Although I have added the black hole feeds in the blog section of blogger. I would like to know how to use the feeds to create content for the blogs. Do I need some expensive software for this?

I was looking at wso software that kurt mentioned, but I didnt buy it as he said that it wont be good if google notices that all these blogs are being created from one ip only.

What else do I need to do now?

bye,
faraz

   Kurt / Top Hat Bob,

Great info here. I can see the power of this.

2 Questions.

You mention you can make 100 blogger blogs in a day.
Do you post to your blogger sites on a regular basis?

I ask because if post you have to setup the posting email and the
script to post with content which is time consuming, is it necessary?

I have 10 silver sites on a number of IPs all with good content and 50 - 500 pages. Would you recommend setting up WP blogs on these and how many per domain? All are on cPanel.

Thanks

Noel

Hi Noel,

Top actually makes WP blogs. He has a secret that I can't reveal and don't recommend him revealing, either.

But I can say this...He's found a way to put these blogs on different IPs that he doesn't own, giving him a wide range of IP addresses that are "unrelated".

Once he got his list of blogs he can use, he puts the registration info into a spreadsheet, then uses macros to duplicate the process, over and over, using a proxy for a different IP address each time.

He then uses one of the auto-poster programs (I forget which one) to update them about once a day for the first couple of months.

Since they are WP blogs, each creates an RSS pheed. He then submits all the RSS pheeds using RSS Submit.

Basically, he uses the blackhole to create posts for all the blogs. The blogs then use the content from the blackhole to create individual RSS pheeds, which he submits to all the RSS directories.

I don't recommend you using your silver IPs to do this...To be honest, I've racked my brain trying to come up with a similar "method" that doesn't comporimise Bob's method.

On the Web 2.0 Resources thread, there's a bunch of blogs that can be used but not sure all can be automated. Find the ones that can be automated, and hit those.

Then, try to find some type of fingerprint you can exploit to search Google for other resources that can be automated. I wish I could be more specific, but this is the type of thing each person needs to do for themselves, because if we all did the same thing, it wouldn't work for any of us because it would be over-saturated.

-Boom boom boom boom.

It's possible Top Hat's secret is out. Joseph Tierney just put out a three page document about finding wp blogs created using WPMU. He has a new tool coming out to find these blogs, sign up, do the verification, select a template, post and ping for you.

http://www.BloggerGenerator.com/Free-Backlinks

That link goes straight to his pdf without any sign up.

The WPMU blogs are not a secret. Tierney's new tool will be much like Pete's tools - not much use if not used properly. If you haven't made 100s of blogs with the Pete's tools that Kurt has provided for free, then this method will not be very appealing.

I don't consider any of my blog building or promotion methods very secretive. I simply build till I get bored and then build more. Over the last few months I have automated it similar to the extent of the tool that Tierney plans to release in a few weeks.

The problem with mass promoted tools is that the fingerprint they use to find the WPMU blogs will be the same for every user. New blogs appear every day and I do spend a lot of time building and filtering my blog list.

You still need unique related content for these blogs and some way to manage it all. Blogs are not an end all solution. They need to be promoted. They drop out the the SERPS and are often removed by the hosting webmaster.

On the plus side: they work great with RSS feeds, interlink easily and every post is a page with an unique URL to promote. They gain PR rapidly. Lots of PR3 and PR4 pages after a few months and 1000s of PR1 and PR2 pages.

The biggest benefit over Blogger blogs or a self-hosted blog network is the varying IP addresses.

It is just another tool to get words on a page and some backlinks.

   Hi all!

I just had an a-ha moment. Kurt can you clarify this?

The key of the blog network is not so much about content, but what we are capitalising on is the pinging effect to drive the bots to our sites repeatedly. For example, when we use rss feed to post content into blogs regularly, it pings. And when we form a blackhole rss feed using all the feeds of these blogs and then ping this blackhole, it drive bots again.

so if we do posting everyday and ping the blackhole everyday, we get the bots coming at least twice a day. Doing this everyday and our blog network is alive!

Am I right?

My question here is, does it matter if the content we post to a blog is repeated? if we use a rss-to-blog software, do we need to check whether the same content is posted twice to the same blog? or does it matter if the same content is posted to different blogs?

Chris

Hi Chris,

We set up the blog network to to bring the RSS directory bots to our site, this is correct.

However, the end result of this is to get our pheeds into these directories so all the RSS site scraper software sites pick up our pheeds so we get links to our pages on their sites.

ZZ Tuel and BlogBomb are two examples of this type of software. There are many, many others. And the more times we ping our own pheeds, the more likely we will be picked up by other RSS scraper sites.

If the blackhole is set up correctly, with enough "content" added to the text files, you won't have "dupe" content issues. Content will be randomized, as will your anchor link text.

This is why you want to have a network of blogs on different IP addresses. If you have 50 blogs you can ping 50 times a day, once per IP, and you'll never set off any red flags to the directories, since you are only pinging each IP once a day.

The key is to use keywords the SE scrapers are using so your pheeds will be found. The goal is to spam the SE spammers in order to get links to your network of blogs from their pages.

23. "RE: Plan/Outline - Goals - Progress"

A big part of your plan is the creation of content. You need words to put on pages.

What we do here is find ways to get the most use out of the words (articles) you create.

Here's a loose/general plan:

Do your keyword research and come up with a number of good keywords.
Use the tips and resources in our Keyword Research Thread:
http://www.dombom.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=119&forum=DCForumID42

Don't limit yourself to a single "root" keyword.

Wrong:
health
health tips
health info

Correct:
health tips
diabetes info
men's skin care

Now, you need to create content based on your main keywords, again with your goal of stretching your content as far as you can.

Pick one of your major keywords, such as men's skin care and create an article called something like "100 Men's Skin Care Tips", maybe you can only come up with 67, 84, 57 tips, etc. Go with what you have.

Put your "100 Men's Skin Care Tips" article on your main site, then list it at all the social sites like Digg and Stumble upon.

Now take your 100 tips and spin them using Tuelz, to create a bunch of smaller aticles, like "6 Men's Skin Care Tips" articles, but change the title of each to use different but relevant keywords.

You should easily be able to create 50 more articles from your original "100 Men's Skin Care Tips" article, using the Tuelz to find/replace to exploit different keywords.

Using contextual links, take your 50 more articles and build lenses, hubs, exploit free hosting, Pete's programs etc, and point links to your these other resources, as well as your original "100 Men's Skin Care Tips" article.

Now, take the content from "100 Men's Skin Care Tips" article and use it to create a blackhole RSS pheed. Point the links in your pheed to your various resources.

Next, bookmark as many of the resources as you can using Bookmarking Demon or something similar.

AFter you're done, write another article called "100 facts about diabetes" article.

Repeat the steps above, putting the main diabetes article on your main site, then "divide and conquer".

Now, after you have 10 or so of these "100 Tips" articles, giving you about 1000 facts, start mixing them together to create a wider variety of content and spread them across all the resources you can find.

This is a long term plan, taking months and months...But for those that stick to it, you'll have all the content you'll even need to spread across the "universe".

The hard part is coming up with the 100 facts/paragraphs...But break it down...That's only 15 per day for a week. Then spend the next 2-3 weeks spreading and promoting and bookmarking and blackholing.

To help, you can use PLR content that's rewritten and/or programs like Instant Article Wizard, some public domain or wikipedia stuff, plus a little custom research of your own (or outsource).

   Kurt,

One money question and one money question only. Then I'll leave you alone and spend the next (year?) investigating the forum.

Here's the question.

If you had decent skills, time, and a penchant for building sites...

If you needed to attempt to generate a couple extra grand a month as fast as possible, where would you start in dombom?

No guarantees, of course.

Many thanks, Dave Clark

good question Dave. I have 4 blogs with PR and history, 2 have been running on feeds all along and 2 I just added feeds to. One makes a $300-600 a month now on search traffic only. Is there a way to capitalize them and build traffic pretty quick? Some of this seems to take a long time. Is there a way to get some of it producing some income faster? It would be nice to have some of this system in stages so I could start out then build while some better income is growing. I am new here and am reading as much as possible. Forgive me if it is being impatient. I am trying to get a workable plan down then implement it.

Dave, Warner and All...

First a few general comments. Everyone wants an easy, fast plan that perfectly matches their own situation. And, they expect it to be here before they get here.

People want a "push button" situation. Here's the reality...If all you hade to do was push a button, someone else would push it twice. Then, someone else would push it three times. Finally, someone would write a program to push it all the time.

Warner has 4 blogs he wants to promote.

Dave wants to make money as fast as he can.

Should each of you use the exact same plan?

How willing are you to take risks? Should the plan for someone willing to take a lot of risks be the same as the person that wants less risk? Ar you willing to build blog farms, day after day for the next 3 month?

How much money do you have? A budget is a major part of any business. Should the plan be the same for folks whose budgets are different?

What are your skills? What are your assets? Are your blogs all remotely hosted? Do you have a reseller account? A full dedicated server?

This forum and programs are about giving you all the options available, many not widely known. The decisions are your pretty much your responsibility.

Every month, we concentrate on a Bomb or Tuel and how to get the most out of it. Right now, we're working on BlogBomb. In about 10 days, we'll focus on something else.

For those that want to learn entire 12 years of SEO in 2-3 hours, I'm really not sure how to do that. But I can get it down to a month or two.

Having said this, I'm more than willing to help each person set up a general plan based on their own situaton.

Dave,

SEO isn't the fastest way to make money, it takes time to get into the engines. Then, if you use an affiliate program like AdSense to generate revenue, we can add up to another 60 days before you actually have any cash on hand.

So we can eliminate the SEO/affiliate model right off the bat.

Since you like building sites, I'd start there, flipping them for cash. I'm not an expert on flipping, so I'd check out some of the other sources.

Many of the Tuelz are designed for webmasters to help build sites, such as crosslinking, etc.

Maybe of more interest, I thinking of offering some "developer" licenses for BlogBomb and FatBomb. These licenses would allow you to sell sites using the scripts, but you couldn't sell the scripts directly.

If others are interested, we can talk about this more in the future.

Next, do your keyword research and find some decent long-tail keywords to sell some Clickbank stuff. They pay fairly quickly.

Use all the 3rd party, free resources you can, crosslinking them. Use the Bomber method to spin content and reviews and post on various 3rd party sites, like Hubpages, squidoo, etc., pusing traffic and links to your "money" pages.

Learn to create RSS pheeds and submit the RSS pheeds to RSS directories and use the Pingz Tuel to ping them.

Create a mixture of sales pages and content pages. Promo the content pages using Web2.0 sources, point them to your money/sales pages.

Here's a free (give your email) Web 2.0 daily plan sheet that is excellent. Use it to submit your highest quality content pages.
http://www.socialmediadaily.com/

Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Your goal is to build your affiliate networks so they earn you residual income so you don't have to build/sell sites. Build/sell sites to give you cashflow in the meantime.

Warner,

Expand your blog network, spin content, use some type of auto post to build content on your blogs. Submit the RSS pheeds and Ping.

Submit quality posts to bookmark sites. I prefer Bookmarking Demon, but there are plenty of other choices.

Using the RSS pheeds from your blogfarm, learn to make a blackhole RSS pheed, either by hand or use BlogBomb's random feature.

28. "RE: Plan/Outline - Goals - Progress"

Hey Kurt, this is mind-blowing stuff here, but I'm starting to see the MAIN strategy. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me that the goal is to get lots of content on lots of virtual real estate, and having "all roads lead to rome" with the tin-silver-gold method.

The tin and silver sites aren't monetized much, or at all, but the gold sites are the money-makers. All traffic and links are one-way, going towards the gold sites.

Content is being re-purposed to the MAX here, with rewrites, and PLR, RSS feeds and re-making some PHeeds and submititng/promoting them.

With all the links from all our own virtual real estate (tin.silver, free etc...) the sites get PR, rise in SERPS (hopefully) and the traffic starts coming in.

Basically, we're creating a network of sites, blog links etc... and when we post to front end of traffic funnel, the tin/silver sites, the effects spread like ripples on water, with traffic from free/tin sites and links from free/tin/silver sites sending traffic to the gold sites and helping with PR and SERPs.

It's up to us to monetize the gold sites, but we're all about creating a network that we can use at will to create content, links, and traffic.

Plus, we add in our very own search engine to help with niche domination, and we're building our own traffic network and pretty much owning the traffic if done properly.

This is what I'm seeing here, am I off base in any way, misisng anything?

I'm not trying to sound smart here, because all this makes me feel pretty small-brained and stupid, but if I have the overall concept down NOW, then I can move forward knowing what the main idea is for this.

Also, if anyone needs to earn some $$$ or needs videos done in exchange for work done on my sites, let me know.

Here are some videos I did regarding Niche and KW research.

http://marketersrelief.com/NR

Kurt, feel free to delete or whatever if you think those are inappropriate, it's just content and video tutorials.

Thanks,

Dan

Hey Dan,

Honestly, I think you said it better than I ever did.

I really can't add much to your post and think you have the broad concept down really well.

Now, it's merely learning the small details for each piece in the puzzle. But again, you're seeing the entire "picture" very well.

Awesome...! SO glad to hear this...

If any of your members need to make some money while they're doing this, I'll pay to have my tin sites set up and what not..

I have my own membership site to attend to, but I like to teach them what I'm learning so there's only so much time to do all this stuff.

So, if you recommend anyone or know anyone who needs the $$$, please let me know. My skype ID is aikidoroll, and the first thing I'd like to get done is setting up the blogbomb.

Article writers, lens and hubpage creators, blogger blog creators, .wordpress.com creators, whatever.

I can do this all myself, but I have more money than time, and I don't expect results overnight form this, either.

It's actually what I like about it.

My PLAN:

1- Blog bomb install, config, set up
2- Get to know RSS inside and out,
3- get pheeds to make pheeds
4- Make tin sites
5- add content to sites, rewrite them for silver sites, add gold content to gold sites, and monetize them

6- then fat bomb

Can't even think much beyond those steps right now....

NOTE: What sold me on this whole idea is the fact that I like to learn and build and not necessarily promote "stuff" all the time to the IM crowd, so this may be a new thing to keep me busy doing really cool stuff... and will enable me to teach my members more powerful stuff.

P.S. am interested in some sort of developer licenses, or some sort of license whereby I can allow others to use these tools only if they maintain their memberships.

I agree. Unless someone has a good/specific reason otherwise, masetering RSS (including BlogBomb) is a good place to start.

We use RSS and BlogBomb (and ZZ tuel) to:
- Add content to pages/sites
- Build links (by creating, submitting and pinging RSS pheeds)
- Monetize...Many affiliate programs make use of RSS.
- Automate cross-linking of our own network

Since we use RSS to automate cross-linking, it's a good foundation and essention starting point.

We discuss this on other threads and I don't want to move those discussions to this thread, but quickly: Install a blogbomb that you'll use for adding links to all of your own resourcs.

Now, as you add a new site, hubpage, lens, blog, etc, create some RSS style links to them, add them to BlogBomb. Now, instead of updating all of your resources by "hand", they can update automatically so your links will be added all across your network.

REPEAT: Please do not post more about how to install/use Blogbomb on this thread. A general discussion about how it fits into your plans is fine.

right now I am planning to get a new reseller domain at hostgator and set up blogbomb there.

I am thinking of useing a domain name with the word hub in it, something short and general so I can use this site to feed other sites. Does that make sence?

I understand it is important to publish the content low key so as not to be seen as a "thin affiliate site" by Google. That is part of why I want to plan in detail initially.

It also makes sense to use a hub related name so later I can build niche hub/directories.

then use the tools to make a bunch of articles and send them out to squidoo, hubpages, blogger, live journal, wpmu blogs, blogs in social network sites.

initially these will be to drive traffic in the weight loss, fitness, health to an established weight loss blog where I have monitized with CPA now but will add Amazon and I have been working on building a list. I also plan to offer some of my own products there.

does this sound like a good way to get started?

Later I plan to add some gold sites in the same field with targeting variation like natural weight loss, fitness niched to tai chi, yoga and like that.

When I start running a different niche area like say cars related, should I start that with a new reseller account and new domain?

Can 1 installation of blogbomb send out feeds for totally different niches or would it be best to have a new installation for each niche area?

Only if it helps you remember the domain as the word "hub" has no signifigance to the system.

I agree.

There's too many variables to give a "one size fits all" type response. In theory, I wouldn't dedicate one reseller account to cars, another to yoga, another to tai chi. Instead, it would be better to spread each out across multiple hosts to get a little benefit from cross linking similar sites.

>Can 1 installation of blogbomb send out feeds for totally

Yes and no. One instance of BlogBomb can "broadcast" RSS pheeds, but each domain will need a "receiver" to translate the RSS to html. Make use of a skeleton directory available in WHM to automatically install Blogbomb each time a new domain is created.

Hi I'm a newbie here but have reasonable skills as webmaster / php etc etc.

Having just landed, it seems as if I am in a conversation which I don't know where to start. Even this thread makes an assumption that you have the software and know how to use it.

So my question is this.

What software/ script modules should I have and where do I get them?
Specifically where is Fatbomb and associated modules/scripts and where are they. I thought that they should be here as part of the subscription.

probably wrong !

Regards
leonard

Hi Leonard,

I'd start here:

http://www.dombom.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=21&forum=DCForumID42

There are monthly downloads available that "cycle" about every 6 months I think.

Hopefully someone else can help out with Fatbomb - maybe Kurt emails that?? (He's on vacation at the moment).

Jeff

   Hi Guys,

been a member for a few days and spent them all reading to get a feel. So, now I'm thinking of creating my plan of attack to promote my sites....

My situation:
- I have 2 baby hostagtor accounts
- 1st has about 20 niche content sites with all unique content mainly in one niche with a few others.
- 2nd about 6 IM related
- All addon domains
- quite a few hubs, WP, Squidoo and blogger sites (only linked to main sites)
- RSS feeds for article authors and blogs (probably not all) basic use in aggregators
- some experience of spinning articles (designed spreadsheet to produce content for most blogs - rewrite each sentence , 2 or 3 times - using random numbers creates hundreds of versions (varying dup % but pretty good). If anyone wants a copy then let me know.
SEO - efforts include usual directories, articles, blogs, RSS, video, linkvana, some bookmarking.

SO, my starting plan (this is where I could use some advice),
- do other seo as in linkbomb report
- set up blogbomb
- set up network of blogs on tin / silver sites
- use blogbomb to populate through rss
- capture every rss pheed
- learn more about rss and blackholes and cross linking (i persume in mini networks per niche or micro niche?)

Ok thats a start (more than enough for the momemnt)

To start would you suggest another hosting a/c ?
Do you think that is a reasonable starting plan, have I missed something obvious?

I'm sure the devil is in the detail and until I start I'm not truly aware of what I will face.

Sorry for the long post
Many thanks
Jason

Hi Jason...

Your plan looks pretty good. There's really not much I can add, other than the details, which are scattered through this forum.

Again, I'd start with BlogBomb, and start adding all of your own RSS pheeds to it. This just makes cross-linking everyting down the road much easier.

For hosting, once your network is generating a little income, I'd get an account at Servint.com . It's a virtual server for about $50 a month, and is managed. This will give you the power you need. Hostgator is OK, until you actually start getting decent traffic, then they'll start shutting down your scripts.

I'd use ZZ Tuel on your cheaper hosting, and Blogbomb on Servint.

All the above are RSS related. Once you have RSS down, move on to content making. I'll try to get more info this month, including more detail on my own spinning methods.

Then use all your content to expand your network. Use the concepts in Tin-Silver-Gold along with the LinkBomb report to get links to your silver-gold sites.

I've got some catching up to do seo wise which is going to keep me busy, but want to test blogbomb to see it in action so I am going to load it up on a domain (addon) that isnt used and test and test.

Hi Jason...

Here's the basic plan...As you create blogs associated with a broad niche, add the RSS pheed to BlogBomb.

Then, if you create a twitter, facebook and myspace accounts, add their RSS pheeds to BlogBomb.

Keep adding every RSS pheed you create to this install of BlogBomb.

Then, as you build more stuff, you just call the BlogBomb RSS pheed, which is really just a combination of all your RSS pheeds.

Also, learn how to create your own RSS pheed "by hand". It's actually pretty easy. Upload it to any site and add it to BlogBomb.

Then, every time you create a new resource that doesn't generate it's own RSS pheed, add an RSS item (or 3) for it to this RSS pheed.

Basically, you are creating your own database of links to all your resources in one place. Now, you can access this using RSS and can very easily cross-link all your resources without having to go to each individually each time you add something new.

A few things are dropping into place, and a few more questions raised, which is good.

So, it doesnt matter where blogbomb is installed then?

Collect RSS - Got that bit and have already started to list.

>Keep adding every RSS pheed you create to this install of

OK

>Then, as you build more stuff, you just call the BlogBomb
>RSS pheed, which is really just a combination of all your

Do you mean that blogbomb can generate and post content from my MainRSS pheed, if I put my MainRSS pheed into the blogs I create. I assumed I would have to start with some content, then blogbomb does the rest (not to make it sound too simple).

>Also, learn how to create your own RSS pheed "by hand". It's

By this I can create RSS feeds from all my main sites that are HTML, that would be cool and look forward to learning that. Upload what exactly Kurt?

Getting the picture, the fog is clearing slightly

Really appreciate this Kurt.

Yes and no. You can install this your "main" BlogBomb you'll use to enter all your RSS pheeds, wherever you want. This instance will combine, then output your own RSS pheed.

Then, you'll need to isntall BlogBom, or use ZZ Tuel, or any of a wide variety of tools to add the RSS pheed to your various blogs and webpages.

This is pretty close...The RSS blackhole will do it in a blackhat fashion.

But for right now, we're just using it to cross-link your own stuff. But again, we can use certain strategies to build content via BlogBomb and RSS, but get this cross-linking structure going before you worry about that other stuff.

>>Also, learn how to create your own RSS pheed "by hand". It's

An RSS pheed is just a text file, using a simple structure. You just upload it online and grab trhe URL of the file to input where necessary.

Google "how to make an RSS file". Then learn how to "verify" your RSS pheed. RSS is very strict and there's like 5-6 punctuation marks that will cause your pheed to fail.

We'll get into the specifics when you get to this point, but it's nothing to worry about.

   Hi Kurt.

OK, I nistalled blogbomb last night, and all went well.

I'm now collecting all MY RSS feeds. Because my "gold" sites are in different small niches, I thought it would be best to put them into their own category.

A couple of points-

- With my social bookmarking RSS feeds that contain links to most of my sites, what the best solution - put them in a general category?

- I assume that later on I can call on individual category feeds - rather than my one big feed??

Also, I read somewhere on the forum that I cant link back to the site where my main feed is - is this correct?

Thanks
Jason

Hi Jason,

How to organize isn't an exact science. But, I would have one category that includes ALL pheeds from related niches.

You can add a pheed to multiple categories...For example, I'd add my gold pheeds to ALL categories, in addition to having a category for ONLY gold pheeds.

>- I assume that later on I can call on individual category
>feeds - rather than my one big feed??

Yes, this is correct.

>Also, I read somewhere on the forum that I cant link back to
>the site where my main feed is - is this correct?

I don't think this is correct. I'd have to see the context before I could really comment.

Since you have some pheeds installed, play around with BlogBomb in the admin...Especially the "random" function. Just hit "refresh" on your browser, and you can visualize how your cross-linking of all your resources will look.

   Hi Kurt,

OK, so I have got my main feed (not that big), tested the random feature, very cool, still trying to think of all the possibilities but I can see how having different feeds spread over a little network is a big advantage.

RSS-just as you said creating one was pretty simple. Q- With my current static html gold sites, the feed will also be static unless I update it, if I add new content then I have to update feed manually. Any way round this? Or just ignore for now and just pick the best/money pages within each site for the feed.

Trying to stop myself rushing ahead but looking at your gold-silver-tin setup - do you use any software to plan out each network of blogs, or is it scribbles on some paper.

Next steps I assume is create lots of blogs on various IP's for one of my gold sites. Do i need the content first and then add rss feeds? If yes my question would be about spinning the decent content I have on my gold site or use blogbomb / zz tuel to create content which you mentioned earlier.

Saying that have I missed anything to get going on a mini network to see it all in action.

Many thanks
Jason

I just update the RSS pheed manually. If you have a large network, manually updating a single "text" file is still a very easy way to update your entire network.

>Trying to stop myself rushing ahead but looking at your

I don't even use paper. I'm not the best at organization...Actually, I'm probably the worst.

ZZ Tuel and Blogbomb can be use to add RSS pheeds to your static pages. This can include content from others' RSS pheeds and/or your own links and content.

I suggest spinning a bunch of content, then using it to fill out your network of tin sites...Here's the method I use:

I've been looking into hosting options, namely servint you mentioned, gotwebhost and webhostforseo.

My first reaction is that servint looks more powerful, although a learning curve to set up with option for reseller. However only 2 different class c IP addresses.

The other two look less powerful but more options, eg 10 class c IP's.

At this moment I am unsure on what would serve me better, more IP's or more bandwidth etc.

Thoughts most welcome.

Thanks
Jason

HI Jason,

I'm not a fan of simply having different class C IPs, that still use the same name servers, server, hosting company, etc. Google can easily tell they are on the same server.

The reason for Servint is that it is "managed" and they'll take care of the basic secirity issues and updates. Not sure about the others.

Once you have a really solid main host, you can increase your IPs using all the 3rd party options, as well as a cheap hosting account here and another there.

You can even trade a little hosting at the various forums. Trade a simple 5 meg site hosted on your server for a similar set up on another machine (with no email, etc).

The main purpose of this host is to be able to handle some decent server activity, such as feeding all your sites a blackhole RSS pheed, etc. We can diversify IPs later, using other methods, and 10 IPs isn't all that many.

But in the end, it's up to you.

Hi Jason,

This one is a little cheaper...I don't know how well it is updated, but used to get good reviews:

More expensive, worth it if you can afford the difference:

   Hi Kurt,

Have a good thanks giving trip!

Update - I've now spun 1000 pages of content, did a good sample and 90% of them were over 70% unique.

So I have content and my main RSS feed. Now I'm ready to start building my network foundation of blogs.

Before I rush ahead, just a couple of questions

I will use Pete's software you provided to start building, I persume all are still OK, I will find out soon enough.

once I create a blog with a page of content plus my main feed I should
- Collect RSS and submit to directories
- Add rss to main feed
- Bookmark blog

Whats the most efficient plan to add content, do I have to go back and use ZZ tuel? Do this at creation stage? add Blackhole?

I have read many threads and I got a little confused by the similarity

After that when the blogs update can you automatically book mark new posts or do you have to go back. I'm just thinking if you crate 100 blogs and they are all automatically adding content I will spend my life bookmarking. Hey if thats the case then so be it, but just trying to automate as much as possible.

Silver sites - do you recommend building those first or after the tin? At present all links in foundation content point to my gold sites.

I guess as I update feeds this will happen anyway.

Think I'm on the right track now, just some finer details need that need reassuring / confirmed.

Many thanks Kurt.

Again ghave a good trip
Jason

Maybe... Even if they don't work, use those resources, plus everywhere else you can find:
http://www.dombom.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=112&forum=DCForumID42

>once I create a blog with a page of content plus my main

Yes, this is correct. Add links to it that can't be auto-updated.

>Whats the most efficient plan to add content, do I have to
>go back and use ZZ tuel? Do this at creation stage? add
>Blackhole?

ZZ Tuel is best used on free/cheap hosting that gives you FTP access, as you will need FTP for ZZ to update your files.

Different 3rd party hosts require different methods.

Also, don't feel you have to update every resource. This is far from the truth.

>I have read many threads and I got a little confused by the

Sorry, I'm not a blog expert, at all. But I'm sure this is being automated, at least with Blogger and WP blogs.

>Silver sites - do you recommend building those first or
>after the tin? At present all links in foundation content

There's not a firm rule on this...Generally, I like to start with the better sites, then as I add tin sites, I can link to the existing sites.

It's far more important to be productive than to be perfect. Try to get a least 3 links from every resource you build, in most cases, many more.

If a resources isn't easy to update, don't update it and don't worry about it.

55. "RE: Plan/Outline - Goals - Progress"

   Hi Kurt,

If it's O.K. with you, I'd like you to please suggest an outline for me based on the resources under the membership here. There's a lot here and what I am looking for is a streamlined plan of action for myself. You will probably need some background info from me, so here it is.

My goal: To speedily build a massive network of sites that will attract lots of traffic and corresponding income. I want to build my future on natural traffic rather than paid traffic that currently forms my business model.

My skill level: Although not a hard-core programmer, I can program in Perl and PHP, handle cPanel, WHM etc. No problem with installing scripts and figuring out problems. In my few days here, I have figured out practically the key programs like BB, Fatty, Zon, etc. So far, I have found nothing that I could not understand or install. Basically there's nothing too hard for me.

My Preferences: I prefer the lazy automated way of doing things. I hate manually writing content, and things like that. Even for content, I prefer to autogenerate if possible. I just hate writing. I'd rather program.

My server resources: Currently I already have a Reseller Account, a VPS, and Dedicated.

What I am currently doing toward my goal: The reason why I have the VPS and Dedicated is that I have already started in the beginning phase of network-building, based on a system from another master. So, I have already started the journey, but although the overiding broad picture strategy between the other master and you, Kurt, are roughly the same, the details and implementation do vary.

Outline Required: Although I have already started following a system by someone else, I want to implement your system in parallel. It's not that I want to have two systems competing, but rather I want to learn different systems. So, if it so pleases you, I would like to have an outline of what I should do using the resources I have a my disposal here. And the word streamline is the key here. There's so much here that I can spend a lot of time playing with different tools for a while before I can design my own streamlined plan that incorporates the most important things but leave out the lesser important things. So, here I am, as a humble disciple, asking you the master to prescribe a streamlined outline for me, based on your undoubted deep and wide experience, so that I can be real focused.

Feel free to ask me questions if you need further info from me.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi Jason,

Sorry for the delay. Let me first say, this forum isn't really a "system", but a bunch of different ideas, tools and strategies.

Use your skills and improve on my Blackhole RSS. A great blackhole can feed "content" to an entire blog farm. Plus, by using your own content, you are keeping all (most, anyway) of the links to your own resources.

Also, try to automate signing up and using as many resources in the web 2.0 resource as possible:
http://www.dombom.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=112&forum=DCForumID42

Use BlogBomb on your own hosted sites and ZZ on free FTP sites.

Spin PLR articles using the Tuelz method to create tons of "Tip" pages to spread across your network.

Add BlogBomb and Fatty results to article pages to help dedoop them.

Basically, my "system" is to put as many words on as many pages as possible, then link to those pages.

Hi Steve,

I need some background info...Your skills, assets, etc. How many domains do you have?

Having said this, get BlogBomb installed and have a good understanding of how it and RSS work, as much of what we do here exploits the power of RSS.

Hi Kurt

Background... I have some programming skills but only limited. I am comfortable with CGI and permissions. Comfortable with HTML, XHTML and FTP, and although I do not have an absolute and complete understanding of RSS I am able to write my own RSS pheeds.

I have good pattern recognition skills which enable me to learn quite quickly.

I am not sure of your meaning of ‘assets’ as it pertains to this. Perhaps you might expand on that?

I have been doing web design for 11 years, have my own reseller hosting package so am familiar with domains and hosting. I have created a few blogs in my time and have some experience with social bookmarking.

I have a handful of domains, most doing nothing but 3 that are earning –
1). $192,000 annual before costs
2). $ 38,000 annual before costs
3). $ 6,000 annual before costs

I have installed BlogBomb and understand how it works.

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,

Assets can be anything, like a bunch of servers, a kid that can write for you, a virtual assistant, etc.

In your case, I'd learn to spin content using our Bomber method:
http://www.dombom.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=98&forum=DCForumID42

Put the output "everywhere" you can. When you add a new parasite host, link it to:

1. The last parasite host

2 To a gold/silver site in your network.

If the resource creates an RSS pheed, add the URL to BlogBomb.

If it doesn't create an RSS pheed, make at least on RSS "item" for it and add it to an RSS pheed that's installed in BlogBomb.

Create a URL to Blogbomb using the random function and just a couple of results (2-5) and add this RSS URL to your resources that are RSS friendly.

   Hi Kurt

Thanks for your reply.

I have created an RSS blackhole that I have uploaded to a website

The files have:
438 description lines
535 keywords
325 URL's

is this enough? Too much?

Also, the URL's in the RSS Blackhole are for another website.

The domains are identical except for a hyphen - between the
two words on one domain and not on the other.

They share the same IP address except for the last number.

I am using pingz to ping every 30 minutes.

Is this all OK, or should I change some?

Other questions:
1). When you say "add it to BlogBomb", should Blogbomb
be on my gold site, or on another site?

2). When you say "resources that are RSS friendly" do you
or anyone else have alist of "resources that are RSS friendly"?

Many thanks
Steve

Sounds good...Just so you know, you can never have too much. (other than the time spent to create it)

The URLs can be to any different sites, if you wish, and aren't limited to a single domain.

You're probably pinging too often, especially if you are using Ping O Matic. I'd slow it down to 2-4 times a day.

If you have other IPs/hosts, install the same blackhole files on it and ping them 2-4 times a day.

>Other questions:
>1). When you say "add it to BlogBomb", should Blogbomb

You should have one "main" install of BlogBomb that contains all of your own RSS pheeds. Think of this as a "tansmitter".

Then, one any domain that you want to include these RSS pheeds, you will need to install Blogbomb on...Think of these sites as "receivers".

>2). When you say "resources that are RSS friendly" do you
>or anyone else have alist of "resources that are RSS

Any static site that has BlogBomb installed, or uses ZZ Tuel. Also, most blogs allow for importing RSS. They may need a plug in. Also, some social sites. We are trying to build a list of RSS friendly 2.0 sites on another thread.

For my main gold site I have about 60 different brand manufacturers
of products all aimed at a very similar market i.e. they are all
specific beauty products.

About 10-15 brands are the main ones.

Q? What should be my strategy?
1). Build network for home page
2). Build network for each of the 10-15 main brands
3). Both of the above?

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,

Here's what I'd do:

I'd do keyword research and be sure your 10-15 keywords are really your best.

I'd consider the 15 my "main" keywords, with a page for each on the gold site. I'd send 30-40% of the links to the homepage, then 60-70% to your "main" pages.

On your site: I'd take the bottom 50 keywords and build pages for each keyword, bleinding in your main keywords into the content. I'd use the Backerz Tuel to link all these pages, so each has two links.

All pages will include links to your home page, as well as the 10-15 main pages.

However, your main pages will only link to each other and NOT to the 50 other pages. (except see next sentence)

Use the Randomz Tuel to put 1-3 links to the other pages on all pages.

This will focus your own site's PR on your main pages.

Now, take each main page/keyword and set up a Social 2.0 "linkwheel" with each wheel pointing to a specific main page.

For example, set up a Hubpage, Squidoo, Blogger, etc and point all of them to a single main page on your site.

Repeat for each of your 10-15 main pages/keywords, creating a link wheel for each.

Next, go get a couple of links from misc. resources to point to your "other" pages. Try to get about half of your other pages a couple of links.

Also, do the same for your 2.0 sites, getting them a link or two...

If your keywords aren't too competitive, you should be in pretty good shape with this strategy.

Can you give a brief outline of a Social 2.0 "linkwheel"?

How many sites? All link to each other? All link to page on gold
website?

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,

Remember, Bombing is all about mixing it up.

Here's an example:
Blogger > GoArticles > Hub Pages > knoll.Google.com > Live Journal > Quizilla > spaces.Live.com > Squidoo > Vox > Wetpaint > Wikispaces > Wordpress > Xanga > Zimbio

These are in alphabetical order and should be mixed up.

Also, not all need to be used each time and other resources, such as Scribd and Ezine Articles should be substituted as different link wheels are used.

All should link to your Gold page(s).

Sometimes link each 2.0 source in a "wheel", one to the next, then next.

For your next linkwheel, don't inter-link the 2.0 sites.

The next linkwheel, link a few, but not all, etc.

Consider these 2.0 pages as "silver".

Bookmark these articles and submit and ping any RSS pheeds.

You should also get some more links to the various silver/2.0 pages using various resources in the Linking thread.

68. "RE: Plan/Outline - Goals - Progress"

   Hi Everybody

I just joined the forum 10 days ago. I have been reading alot of the posts. You're right...it can be totally overwhelming with the volume of great info here.

So far, I have installed Fatbomb, BBX2 and Zon on one domain.

* I found that I can only get Fatbomb search results from 'All The Web', 'Alta Vista', and 'Pheeds'. None of the other engines seem to be working.

* Also can't get any search results from buyitbomb_zon4.cgi

Any suggestions for the above?

Anyways, this post is to inform you about my goals, plans, current resources, etc.

I am fairly new to IM (about 1 year). Right now, I have one site that is around 10 months old, as well as 3-4 other sites around the same age which I did some work on. When I started these sites, my keyword selection was pretty poor and they haven't done much.

My main site has 10-15 hand written articles plus some product reviews. It's monetized with adsense and is currently earning about $1.00 per day. I have only recently added new articles based on better keywords lsi keywords (started this about a month ago). The site is starting to do better and has 12 keywords on pages 2&3 and another 14 or so on pages 3-15 for a moderately competitive niche. At least I am now able to see better how things work and how everything works together...niche research-content-linking.

My main promotion method has been using Peter Drew's Linking Loophole software. I also have around 5 Ezine articles, 1 Squidoo, 1 Blogger, 1 Live Journal, 1 Wordpress.com. I have one set of Social Bookmark accounts on around 20 sites (the better sites on SocialBot). I also use RSSBot to submit feeds from all of the resources that I build.

I know it's not alot, and I can see that I will have to be building tons more of these types of resources now that I'm here.

I have one reseller account that has multiple IP's to host domains on. I have around 10-12 domains that were not particularly well chosen name-wise.

Financially, I don't have alot of money and have not made much in IM so far. I have started to do some SEO jobs for the place that I work my day job at, and have picked up another 2 small local businesses. This will help somewhat to support my IM efforts, but of course I really want to get my own stuff working.

Technically, I am not at all a 'techie', but I am usually able to figure things out eventually. Have not had any experience dealing with scripts, ht access, SSI until coming here. I'd say that I've learned quite a bit in the last 10 days here.

I would say that my main bottleneck right now is in content creation. I am optimistic that using ideas and methods presented here will help alot in that regard.

I guess that, so far, I've been having difficulty scaling everything up, from content creation to link building. Again, there are alot of great ideas here that I hope to use.

My goal is to build a huge network of tin-silver-gold sites, and to make enough money to live on for a start.

I probably need some guidance on my plan. I figure that I will first try to build a directory/hub site using Fatbomb, plr, Article_Ideas and rss feeds. It will be a directory related to my current main site. I also think it would be a good idea to do the '100 tips' idea for content, and start building more tin-silver sites. I would also like to start on a few more niches, making better choices.

Well that's about all I can think of for now. I'm looking forward to implementing more and more as I go along and continue to learn.

Any feedback is most welcome. Btw, is this forum still active? There doesn't seem to be alot of recent activity. Maybe everybody is too busy building!

Thanks alot for reading.

Calvin

I'll try to get more of these fixed soon. The engines change so much, it's hrd to keep up.

I'll post Spiderbomb on the 20th for next month's downloads. This way, you can spider your own results and not be as dependant on the engines.

Another option is to add RSS to BlogBomb, then have Fatty include BlogBomb in the SERPs.

Also, are you sure ODP isn't working?

I've stopped giving out the Amazon script, as Amazon changed their API. I'll see if I can get it fixed, but it may be a little while. Sorry about this.

To repeat, the first place to start (once Blogbomb is set up) is to start creating content.

Refer to this thread:
http://www.dombom.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=98&forum=DCForumID42

Come up with "chunks" or paragraphs of content related to a topic. Write some of your own. See if you can't get ahold of some cheap PLR. Also, try to see if you can find some good public domain material. Rewrite chunks gathered from Article Ideas. I'll also post this on the 20th.

Keep making chunks based on all the "valuable" keywords you have reserached.Once you get a good amount, you'll be able to create all the tin and silver content you'll ever need.

Then, build real estate. Start with your best stuff, then make more sites, linking to the older sites.

Get links to these sites using Think Links...

Sorry, my mistake. Dmoz is working too.

Thanks for the work-arounds. I'll experiment with the other alternatives that you mentioned. Doing so will probably help me to figure out how the different scripts and tuelz can work together.

Thanks for the outline, Kurt. I'll focus first on gathering the chunks first as you suggest, then go from there.

71. "Update: RE: Plan/Outline - Goals - Progress"

Here's an update on my progress since joining Bomb Squad:

- installed Blog Bomb on siteA and entered all of my current RSS resources. Have not used it for anything as of yet.
- made some test hybrid dynamic-static pages on siteA using Page Bomb and SSI. Worked well.
- installed Fat Bomb on siteA and got it working. I plan to feed it from my own data, but haven't used it for anything yet.
- made 200 chunks from PLR original content and made 1000 pages ready for distribution. Learned how to use linez, pagez, randomz, replacez while doing this.
- installed Blackhole RSS on a new site and made a pheed using lines from the same PLR original content as above. I put this feed on a couple of Lenses and Bloggers so far. Pinging the Blackhole 4x per day with Pingz.
- learned how to fix and validate feeds using find/replace.

Next up:

- learn to use Thinklinks and Spartan multi-clipboard to open accounts and post the 1000 chunks. *Kurt: would it be possible to include "Super Submitter" in next months downloads?
- make another set of 10-12 Social bookmark accounts at sites that give you good feeds. Bookmark posts with this new set of accounts.
- learn Scrubz, ZZTuel, Godfather

Plus:

- I want to install another Blackhole, but want to try to use it using the method that Kurt and Top Hat were talking about earlier in this thread. I have some questions concerning this:
- Is the idea to use longer pieces of content for this feed rather than single lines as per the original method?
- When you say 'As your blackhole pheed is posted to your blogs...', do you mean a)that the content of our pheed is converted to a post or b)do you mean just enter the pheed into the rss widget (such as on Blogger and Squidoo)?
- If a), then do you mean our blogs need to be self-hosted? I don't know how to make pheeds-to-posts on WPMU, Blogger, etc.
- is Godfather Bomb the method we should use to mail our pheeds into posts on Blogger, WPMU, etc?
- or do we convert our pheed content to static pages, and then post the static pages? I guess either method would work, but I haven't gotten around to Godfather yet.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks alot...Calvin

Yeah, I'll post it on the 20th.

>- Is the idea to use longer pieces of content for this feed
>rather than single lines as per the original method?

I would still mix it up, but in general, you may want to use bigger chunks of text. This is because of the way the RSS scrapers work, which is by keyword. The more text you include, the more likely your stuff will be scraped and used on other sites, which is the main goal of a blackhole.

>- When you say 'As your blackhole pheed is posted to your

Actually, I mean both. There's any number of ways to include RSS pheeds and didn't get into detail. The key is just to get them on "other places".

I would use Godfather because I already have it installed. It can be used to:

1. Take RSS, convert to email, then use with other services that allow posting via email. See the recent thread by Bluesky (Karsten) for services that allow email posting. This is just another option for those that want it, but isn't necessary.

2. If you have a "regular" site that allows FTP, you can use Godfather to create sites (using different "lists"), then use the Moverz Tuel to "move" these sites to different hosts.

Simply, use #1 for third party services that allow email posting. Use #2 for hosting you have FTP access to.

Thanks Kurt. I like the fact that there are so many different ways of doing things. The bombz and tuelz are fantastic and the usage instructions on this forum are very comprehensive.

Thank you!

Ok sounds good. I'll try to find as many ways as possible to add RSS pheeds into new resources.

I hope to be able to contribute some useful information to this forum someday, as I continue to learn.

Thanks again...Calvin

74. "RE: Update: RE: Plan/Outline - Goals - Progress"

   Hi Guys,

I’ve joined this forum a few weeks ago already and have just been blown away so far at how little I actually know of SEO and SEM. I initially heard of Kurt at the Warrior Forum when I purchased his Thinklinks packages. This has broadened my thinking, and set the stage for me to be left speechless on this forum.

All this reading has kind of left me in a state of mental paralysis, and I’m kind of keen to get going on a certain plan. I thought it best to post here on the Goals thread to get some feedback from you guys on what my best step forward is.

A quick backround
I have (what I would consider) currently 4 gold sites. These are sites with unique original content, consisting of mostly articles and some videos. They cover a variety of different topics including Home Decorating, Gifts, Government Auctions and Travel Packages. These sites are monetized with a mix of Clickbank and Amazon products and Adsense. They have decent traffic (nothing extraordinary) and have been going for about a year each.

On top of that I have a fulltime write based in the Philippines. She does a relatively good job and I consider her a good resource in the whole process. Originally my intention was for her to write articles, submit on Ezine, spin content using Article Marketing Automation and postings on Linkvana. This was before I arrived here. My thinking now is that there is a better way to utilise all this content that she can create for me and really stretch it to the max using some of the Tuelz.

My Plan

Now here’s my plan (subject to change on your input). Creating Silver Properties. I’ve created a fair bit of Squidoo lenses, hubpages and the like in the past and doubt this will be a real issue. I therefore don’t really see a problem to create these. I’m going to start with one of my gold sites, create 10 silver properties around it, gather their RSS feeds and submit to RSS directories using RSSBOt. The content on here is going to be of a good quality. Any idea how often I should post new content to the lenses and my other silver properties..? If frequency is an issue, should I use some automation method to take some time out of the process...?

Tin Sites

Now this is where I get a little lost. I definitely see the whole idea of building a ‘blog farm’ all with links pointing back to my sites (especially silver sites). Kurt, looking at your link diagram structure, it appears that it would make alot of sense to focus on the linear-open circuit and focussed linking patterns as these look less risky and doesn’t resemble the usual link wheel concept.
My questions really relates to the process of automation and using RSS in particular. Access to content as far as I’m concerned is not really a problem. Spinning this is not a problem either. The issue comes in as to how I can automate this process as far as possible. I’ve seen Kelvin’s thread on Blogbot, and it would appear that this is a good piece of software to use in building WPMU sites and posting to them content spun by Tuelz....? That leaves me still with the whole concept of the other platforms such as blogger, livejournal, etc. Any software recommended for this...?

Swiftly on to RSS. I see the whole idea behind an RSS blackhole. This makes sense. My only question on this is, if there is a way to use the RSS blackholes to populate my blog network with content. The issue being as my feeds are updated by the RSS blackhole, it moves down over time and contributes to the whole link decay problem. Is there a way to circumvent this and use the blackhole as content...?

I’ve asked a few questions here and some, perhaps, is not supposed to be on this particular thread. Apologies if that’s the case. I would love some feedback though and I’m keen to get started.

Thanks
Wiehahn

Hi Wiehahn,

Mix it up. In the "real" world, the vast majority of sites never get updated. Update the sites that are the easiest to update, specifically through automation.

Don't get caught up thinking you have to update every site every day.

I wouldn't worry about updating most of them at all.

Others should only be updated a 1-2-3 times a month.

Some once a week or so.

Others every day or two.

Do what you can do without driving yourself crazy thinking about it.

Funny you should ask...

I've been spending my time recently trying to learn something that will let me address this issue.

Basically, I'm not a programmer and have had to rely on others to make stuff. I'm trying to learn how to make some of the things myself, so I'm in control.

I don't want to get more specific until I'm sure I can do it. I'll go into more detail in a day or two (or 3 or 4).

Actually, this is why the blackhole can be very powerful. The real benefit of RSS is when your RSS items get picked up by other sites (usually scrapers) and they create links to your site from their blogs and pages.

But to get the "numbers", you need to constantly update your RSS pheed. The blackhole kind of cheats at this, and is a blackhat technique.

Think of a blackhole as an old "doorway page" creator, except the pages are in RSS format and not html format.

And yes, you can use the blackhole for content...It may be just as beneficial as a "content spinner" which you can use to add spun content to a network of RSS friendly sources.

A more simple "blackhole" is to add alot (100s) of RSS items of your own to BlogBomb, then call the results using the "random" feature. For this, take your "chunks" and convert them to RSS, with each chunk being a paragraph of info that can stand on it's own.
