When it comes to SEO, my biggest hurdle is writing content, by far. I've searched high and low since 1996 for the easiest ways to write good, original content. Here's what I've found works best for me:

Windows Speech Recognition - Forget Dragon Naturally Speaking, I do just as well using Windows Speech Recognition, and it's free. IMO, there's two important factors when it comes to using Windows Speech Recognition:

1. A good mic. Nothing fancy, but a decent USB headset is important. This is the only expense, so $40 for a headset is a good investment.

2. Training Windows Speech Recognition over and over. I say give it at least 5-6 training sessions, even more if you can. You can open the training through your PC's control panel. Plan on spending an afternoon just reading and speaking the training examples over and over a few times. It's worth the investment of your time and effort.

Logistics: - It took me a while to actually figure out howto write using dictation. I needed a way to see things side by side. So I created a simple webpage with 3 input forms:

1. One for keywords and notes

2. Another for research. As I search online I'll copy/paste facts and interesting bits of info from various sources. Also, programs like Articles Ideas can be used for this.

3. And a third input form used for dictating my info.

Basically, I have a list of keywords and copied content that I want to use as a reference for my own ORIGINAL content. I then use dictation to put the facts in info into my own words, mixing in as many of my own keywords as I can, adding and merging sentences, thoughts, facts, opinions and ideas.

Dictation isn't a miracle worker and has limits. It's weakness is that for topics that use a lot of special vocabulary words, you'll have a lot of corrections to make. But for more common writing, you'll have much better success.

Dictation is very useful for creating and modifying "chunks" of content. It's also great for writing posts for Link Vana, rewriting Tweets for Twitter automation using quality content.

Go ahead and "steal" the HTML code to make a simple (but effective) dictation page. Just copy/paste it into your text editor and save as:

Then open dictation.html in your web browser, turn on Windows Speech Recognition, add some keywords, research, and start talking...

You can use my page or you can open dictation.html and modify the forms, text size, width, etc, to fit your preferences then upload to your own site.

Since I use a simple html page for my dictation, I can add it to my "Favorites" bar or menu.

I also have a link to an online spinner..Plus, I remember to start my Tuelz every time and add a link to Tuelz in my Favorites bar.

Because Tuelz are browser based, you can open them in different tabs in your browser, which is perfect for using with dictation and other text manipulation techniques.

Basically, IE will have the following tabs open:

1-2-3 tabs for research

1 tab to dictation.html page

1 or 2 tabs open with Tuelz. For example, you may be doing keyword research in one tab and have the Linez Tuel open in another tab to easily work between the two. After manipulating the keyword research, you click the tab with dictation.html and add your keyword research.

Simply, put some tools and Tuelz in your Browser "Favorites" bar. Then you don't have to switch between programs very often.

Quick Note: You need to run IE for Tuelz in this case, as the Linez Tuel has a bug that won't let it work in Firefox. Linez is a useful tuel for this type of work.

Get a decent mic, train Win Speech Recognition, set up your browser favorites bar with the things above and you've got a content production machine using built-in SEO.
