I've joined the site and have been reading all info about FatBomb I could find. Really excited about the possibilities and would like to get suggestions from Kurt and experienced members here before starting with the Bombs.

I'm a product creator and want to use FatBomb for driving traffic to my product site and also selling services for some of my clients.

Here's some ideas I came up with till now for my future plans for Fat Bomb

1) Create Niche Directory Sites and sell links

Something like Mary is doing with her Quantumseek site but for more niched topics. I understand that it is only possible when my site gets decent traffic and atleast PR 4 like Mary's.

I'd like to know what strategies to apply to gain PR4 quickly starting from a new domain? I've seen the great linking diagram by Kurt. a bit more clarification with an example of type of sites he mention will be greatly appreciated.

Mary if you are reading this...how much time did your Quantum seek site take to reach it's present status? Did you start with High PR domain or from scratch?

2) Create Massive Niche Directories With Fat Bomb and Sell The Site.

I understand that to do this there has to be some way without passing on the FatBomb to The Buyer. What is the best way to apply this strategy with fatBomb?

3) Create Niche Content Site ...like database or big collection of useful resources and info. Password protect the content. And use it as a bonus or upsell for a niche Product.

What would be the best way to approach it?

Thanks in advance to anyone providing suggestions/additions for these

I Think from a new Bomber Perspective a discussion of the possible monetizing ways for the Bombs will be immensely helpful for new bombers here like me

Obtaining a "quick" PR is as much a factor of how fast Google updates its toolbar as anything else.

Right now, we're discussing two linking methods:
1. Using free hosting and other free services to create links (see the Free Hosting thread and the Web 2.0 Resources thread)

2. The RSS Blackhole - this is a blackhat technique to create links. See the Blackhole thread for more info.

This could be done be creating static html pages and creating sitemaps/directories. See #4 Making Pages with FatBomb. Also, I'll cover this in more detail in a few days.

The "best" way is just to do it. Hand select high quality links, and give each a "weight" so your SERPs are the best they can be.

Yes, more narrowed down niches would be better in the long run as I mentioned in my other post.

And no, it's not only possible to get people to pay for links after you get decent traffic and high PR.

Actually, I had less than 50 visitors a day to this site with a PR2 when I started charging for links. The trick is to get the right people or market, and offer them more value like an extra month or 2, or offer to list them as "Featured links". This gives a better perceived value.

The price was low at $25 for 6 months. When you reach a PR 4, you can charge more for this type of link especially if you offer links in the Fatty Seach Engine itself.

Plus, QS was only a PR2 until this past week.

I didn't gain a PR4 to QS quickly. Yes, I should have but wasn't familuar with everything I have now. That does make a difference. Matter of fact, if I had paid any attention to what Kurt said in his linking thread and put some real work into it, I probably would have gotten the PR4 the first month or 2. But I digress lol.

No, this site was started from scratch.....BUT, I did link it to 2 of my other hub sites that had good PR and high amounts of traffic. I think I also added a link to QS in a free linking report if I remember correctly.

I'd say it took about 6 months, but remember, I didn't promote this site at all. I was down badly sick for the better part of the 6 months, and only paid attention to some of my real money makers.

I only linked it to a few other sites and a couple of high PR directories. Matter of fact, and I'm sorry to say this one, but it's basically built itself up to where it is now. Google loves this site, and so do the other SEs. I now have about 17 different recognized SEs crawling this site at least daily. This isn't including the Unknown SEs.

When you set up a Fatty site, you'll notice what I am saying here.

Anyway, QS is getting established now, and growing in traffic each day. Now that I am back working, I will be tweaking it and going on a major linking campaine.

My other Fatty sites are doing far better then this one is. This is why I chose it for an example to use here. Most of them hit PR 4 by 3 months. And no, I can't show you them lol.

Here are a couple of things I think will help get you there faster:

1) Get to know Fatty and BlogBomb well, and their capabilities.

2) Check out the threads of Kurts on RSS Blackhole, Linking and free hosting.

3) Build the niche directory where it relates to one of your bigger sites that is already getting good traffic.

4) When you build your site, make sure ALL the tags are in the header section, and for all the images. DO NOT SCIMP!

5) Monetize your theme or skin with PPC blocks and affiliate products so when people do searches on your SE they see the ads in the side bars. If you add images, put the alt tags in for every one of them too.

6) Sprinkle some of your sites with copy, or blogs with products that relate to the niche in the actual Fatty results. Not heavily, but just a couple - few.

If you know nothing about Fatty, I suggest you take some time to get to know it first, or the other pieces won't matter muct to you right now.

I think I'm here to stay. I've not done bad in my biz online but so far always avoided SEO and depended on PPC and others for targeted traffic, joining the Bombers have already given me a different perspective, specially with my long-term plans with content sites.

Fatbomb as a search engine can be the primary destination. Takes clues from existing search engines, as far as link placement, sponsorships, etc.

Fatbomb can be used as s localized site map search. Spider all the links on your site, Try spiderbomb, add those to a specific database for fatbomb. So instead of using third party tools as a site spider, u have fatbomb.

Fatbomb can be used to pull in searchengine traffic to your niche site.
Example: I have a gardening ebook for sale. Instead of buying traffic, I decided to setup a fatbomb niche search dedicated to gardening which pulls in SE traffic, which I flash the gardening ebook in front of.

This same install can be used to get incoming links to fatbomb which in turn brings strenght and eyeballs to the primary ebook.

You can go to places and grab affiliate links and load up your fatbomb database with links to products that pay you instead of just sending them to random places that do not benefit you.

Of course u can use the standard affiliate links, or adsense links on a page. You can make fatbomb the search engine for an article directory and much more.

Fatbomb is just another tool for gathering and or manipulating data. Don't get stuck on anyone fixed way to use it, unlesss of course you find a highly profitable way that works for you. In this case rinse and repeat.

People would be better to discover what works best for them in their situation. That's why we keep trying new things...so we can discover a wide range of uses.

The trick isn't to copy what is working for someone else. It only backfires most of the time. Sure, you can gain ideas and add them to what you have, but ultimately it pays to discover the very best way to do things for you.
