Is there a way to use the shuffle and/or random options for the results in the archived pages created by GodFather Bomb? I'm archiving daily and the news may end up being the same for several days in a row.I've gotten the shuffle option to work with BlobBomb feeds, but I'm not sure how to get it to work with GFB. Thanks, gtrusler

I guess the question is, if the news doesn't update everyday, then why have a daily list???You can include a BlogBomb random tag in your GBomb template, which will combine the dynamic elements of BlogBomb and the static elements of the GBomb archive. Although, I don't think you will see the SSI content in the template...

Thanks for the reply. I’m using a daily list because I want to generate more content than a weekly list would. The news updates more often than weekly, it’s just not every day. My thought was that if I could shuffle the results, the pages would at least appear different to the SE spiders.I did get the shuffle to work using the SSI tags, but then my archives get refreshed every time the page is accessed. I want to create static pages for my news archives. My workaround was to create 7 different message lists (one for each day of the week) and have each with a slightly different selection of feeds and number of results. It’s crude and cumbersome, but it’s the best I could come up with. I’ve got about 15 different sites I want to implement this on, so if you have any easier suggestions or if you see a problem with this approach, I’d appreciate the feedback.
