#0, WP Amaniche and google deindexing questions

Hi all,Over at the Warrior forum, there's a post for a tool called WP Amaniche. Basically it builds wordpress blogs from Amazon products. Now, here's me question. I read their free report and did some investigations on my own and discovered that yes indeed, the sites they claim rank for the top 10 for amazon keywords ie, http://www.google.com/search?q=thomas+air+compressors http://www.google.com/search?q=dewalt+air+compressors Their site, www aircompressorsreview com , does show up. Now, how long do you think this will last until Google kills sites like these? From what I can gather, they're basically Wordpress sites that drip in amazon.com reviews/products/etc. Wouldn't that be considered an Amazon thin site? A good majority of my thin sites were deindexed bigtime by Google. Comments?

Hi Barbra, in my opinion it all depends on how many people use it, Im beginning to think we are much better off paying a little more money and hiring a programmer to make something unique, that way we are the only one using it. It seems that every product that builds thin affiliate sites eventually goes by the wayside. Russ

Hi Barb,That's a tough question. I actually think the sites look pretty good, there's some decent "review" type content on some pages that then point to amazon products. I guess only time will tell...

Check out those 'review comment' pages - they're lifted directly off of the Amazon.com reviews. That's what was a HUGE red flag to me regarding the possibility of Google going smooshieDeDooDah! Sigh. I remember making thin affiliate sites too that were tremendously magnificent until Google did a massive kill on them. THat's why I'm leery on them nowadays....

What if you were to use this plugin to build a Wordpress blog that is hidden from the search engines (with WP privacy settings, robots.txt, etc). WP has a built-in RSS pheed, not only for the overall blog, but also by category. And there is an RSS pheed for comments too. You could add a plugin that converts designated keywords into affiliate links, which could of course be your own sites just as easily. And those links are included in the RSS pheeds WP generates. Since these pheeds are available, the possibilities become interesting when combined with Blogbomb, Godfather, ZZ & other Tuelz, etc.

So Jeff, you say just hide the main page which is the wp blog, but make the various rss pheeds from that blog available for applications, readers, and tuelz?Sounds good. Ron

Hi Ron,That's what I was thinking, that the content this plugin picks up could be repurposed beyond it's obvious use. I'd keep the Amazon links it generates, but just throw in a few links to my own sites or to affiliate products with a plugin (I use Max Ninja Affiliate, but there are some free ones too such as Alinks and Gocodes). These RSS items could then be mixed with others for page building. Jeff

Hi Barb,> Wouldn't that be considered an Amazon thin site? Yes, definitely. You are justified in being leery. Phil
