#0, Whats your thoughts about Bing?

For the last few days I have had the search engine Bing on my mind, I guess the main reason for that is I bought the ultimate search engine loophole. The loophole is about ranking in bing compared to the big G. Its to early for me to tell how well this works, but the author has got some top spots for very competitive terms with it. But what im thinking is everyone is so obssesed with ranking in google they kind of dont think about bing. From my understanding, yahoo search results are going to start using bing some how for their results. Wouldnt that make the two of them combined competitive with the big G? Its supposed to be easier to rank on bing, and stay there longer than google. Whats your guys opinion?Russ

Hi Russ,Honestly I haven't been paying attention to Bing or Yahoo like I should. Dave Kelly (Loophole writter) makes a valid point: Even though Bing gets less traffic, it may be easier to rank for "better" keywords, which may balance Bing sending less traffic. I believe Loophole was written before MSN became Bing, are the conditions still the same?

Yes Kurt it was written before msn became bing, but he has updated his video to show he still ranks for the same keywords on bing as he did on msn.

Now with that said I will try to keep updates on my progress, but I think its worth targeting bing as opposed to Google, heck so far I see some domains in both with common strategies. No doubt google is king and much faster with indexing than bing but supposidly you will stay ranked on bing longer than google, they dont dance as much, and are not as sophisticated as google, I think that is the key "not as sophisticated as google" Russ

What I have been hearing lately from some trustworthy sources is that Bing may have less traffic than google but the traffic you do get from it converts better. At this moment I really can't remember if that was specifically for buying keywords or not but that would make sense.
