Hi, unlike most people who seem to be searching for RSS feeds FROM web 2.0 properties, I am looking for feeds INTO web2.0 properties - is there a list anywhere of the web 2.0 properties that you can update with an rss feed?

thx

dean

Hi Dean,

This is a good question.

I "think" you can do some things with a combo of www.twitfeed.com twitter and www.ping.fm .

I could be wrong, I'm about 50% sure, but it may work like this:

Your RSS => Twtitfeed => Twitter => Ping.fm => Other 2.0 services

My only question in this set up is if Ping.fm will accept posts to twitter. I know Ping.fm posts to twitter and I think it will also work the other way around, but not sure.

The concern is: Twitter is limited to 140 characters.

e.g

Note about Squidoo: They use javascript to add RSS to lenses. This means the SE doen't read this content.

However, it can still be used to drive traffic to a site or to add other stuff via RSS.

Thanks guys

I just thought there would be a list somewhere as I assumed people would be wanting to do it

U can add content to hubpages I know by adding an rss module

thx for the tip on Squidoo about it being non readable via the search engines.

Ping FM does look promising - but I think they have a way to go before u can fully automate if from an rss feed (well the way I want it to anyway)

thx

dean

Hi Dean,

I haven't come across this type of list yet. Until we do, we'll need to build our own list.

Hi Kurt,
whats your opinion on RSS directories!
Should I bother and submit to more than the 100 included in RSS Submitter?

More directories equal more backlinks or what ))????
thanks in advance
Karsten

Hi Karsten,

My theory is if it's automated, may as well do as many as you can. At least do the ones that don't have captchas.

Looks like Comment Luv adds an item from your RSS pheed.

Here's a search to find WP blogs using the Comment Luv plugin:
