It seems "curation" is a big topic now.Check out these two warrior forum threads:

Here's the Curation Nation site:

Note the testimoninal from Ariana Huffington...The Huffington Post not only was bought by AOL recently for a few hundred MILLION dollars, it's also a "curated" site.
Scrubz and the Newz Tuel allow Bombers to "curate" RSS pheeds.
I've made other posts showing how to use both Tuelz. If there's interest I'll try to find them.
But here's a quick over-view:
Find a bunch of RSS pheeds in a niche.
Add them to The Newz Tuel, which is your Tuelz RSS reader.
Switch over to Scrubz
Set up a project (first time only)
Then use Scrubz to "curate" those pheeds. By "curate" I mean to check out the RSS pheeds, pick and choose the best ones (scrubbing). For more originality, Scrubz allows you to edit, change and/or add your own commentary.
Once you've scrubbed the RSS pheeds, Scrubz will upload an RSS pheed to your website.
Once you've created an RSS pheed, you can use that in an email program like Awebber, or add it to a blog, etc.
Bombers can use BlogBomb to create an updated RSS pheed using BlogBomb installed on their website.
Bombers can also use ZZ Tuel, which will read the RSS pheed and create static html pages for you, using your "curated" RSS pheed. You just need to make sure you do your scrubbing before ZZ Tuel is scheduled to run.
Using Scrubz + ZZ Tuel will probably take a few hours to learn, but you can create very high quality, original content and newsletters about as easily as possible after that.
Honestly, you won't be able to create pages that look like the Huffington Post's, as they are a huge company with access to photographs....
But check out the Drudge Report's Homepage:
http://www.drudgereport.com/
You CAN do better than that using Scrubz and ZZ Tuel, adding comments and editorials to each resource.
Please NO POLITICS!!!! These sites are for examples of curated sites ONLY.
Again, you can use Scrubz, ZZ Tuel and an Aweber account to make content for both web pages and a newsletter at the same time.
You can also create your own original RSS pheed using this method and add Google Adsense to it...
Let me know if there's interest and I'll try to find the older "how to" threads".
Excellent post Kurt For those who use Wordpress, it's very easy to add your curated content there automatically, in one of two ways.
1) To the sidebar, as an always-updating display of recent curated items. This is done with the RSS Widget which is included with Wordpress. Appearance => Widgets - drag the RSS widget to your sidebar, then add the RSS URL that Scrubz creates.
2) To your blog as posts - each individual curated item from the Scrubz RSS is added to your blog as a new post. This can be done with a number of plugins. Many are paid ( Autoblogged.com for example ) but some are free. The old standby is FeedWordpress. There's a newer one I haven't tried called WPeMatico that looks promising. It's based on the WP-O-Matic plugin which is excellent, but is sadly no longer updated.
Bottom line is this gives you a way to update your WP blog with genuine, unique content without having to use the WP admin interface.
