"Clickbank Merchant Data Feed for Spreadsheets"
|
I took the CB merchant datafeed and converted it to a pipe-delimited text file that can be opened by Excel or Open Office. This will let you sort by different factors or create your own formulas. This is fresh as of Aug. 4, 2010 and this took more work than I thought, so I suggest you use it right away for best effect. www.dombom.com/iframes/cb_marketplace_feed_v1-2-2.zip

Hi Kurt, As a giveback, I took this file and converted it to fatbomb format. This will let anyone use it as a fatbomb search, use with blogbomb, or any RSS feed. I especially like blogbomb or zztuelz, because you can then pull only items matching keywords you wish to use, at that time. The file is ready to go, you just have to do a find and replace on one word> AFFILIATE each product is one line, Example: Link|title|Description http://AFFILIATE.ETVCORP.hop.clickbank.net|"SatelliteDirect - Highest Converting Tv to PC Product Earn 75% Bonuse"|By Promoting the Leading Tv to PC patent-pending software. For more information please visit our affiliate page: http://www.satellitedirect.com/affiliates.php I am going to email the file to you, Kurt, because the system will not let me attache it.

BTW, how did you convert it? I was thinking about doing a video on how to use a spread sheet to do it, do you have a better way?

Not better, just different. I started by saving it as cvs tab delimited, imported into linez, find and replace. Only problem is with that many lines, I could not complete the job as a single file. The limit was probably memory and browser timeout. So, I ended up using the same cvs file, and doing find and replace in NoteTad pro.
NOTE: the file is based on the old standard affiliate links Clickbank used. Not the new url you get with supposed security features to prevent hyjacking.

Hi Kurt, You gave me a couple of ideas. Just by my toying with this. I went, got the feed, massaged it a bit. And then ran the whole thing through RZZ tuelz, to create a feed. But, that is one big file. So, I also broke it down into 20 chunks via category. I put up a gig at zeerk.com to see if anyone would buy the set for $25 customized with your clickbank ID. you can of course then add the feeds based on category to your blog, or submit to aggregators, mashups, etc. kelvin Join the MadBomber VIP club here http://www.dombom.com/vip/clk/54sr37 |
