Let's get to it!Bombimg is all about not doing anything the same way twice. It's about numbers and creating an SEO-friendly network that isn't dependant on any one resource, but exploits many.
You're not going to learn everything in a day, week or month. Start with BlogBomb. Learn it and learn how to create RSS pheeds. It may seem difficult, but this will be a huge timesaver for you in the long run and opens up possibilities for extreme SEO and cross linking that are worth far more than the learning curve.
This forum is a collection of my 13 years experience with SEO as well as the experiences of some very qualified Bombers/SEOers.
I first started SEO in 1996. I played a lot of poker back then and looked at the SEs from that point of view, which means numbers and psychology.
Numbers: The more words you put on the most pages, the better chance you have to get traffic.
Psycholoogy: I tried to think like a search engine and put myself in their shoes. I developed my own search engine. Nothing special, but to try to create good search results yourself is the BEST way to learn SEO and I learned this very early in my career. (Fatty evolved from this.)
In addition, I believe in concentrating on what the engines CAN'T change. This should be the mainstay of your SEO efforts.
If you've been in SEO for a long time, take a look at the things that have remained the same. Despite all the changes, there's also a core of things that haven't changed.
Keywords in page titles has ALWAYS been important. have your own SE and you'll understand why.
Anchor text in both outgoing and incoming links has always been important to Google.
Using the keywords in the body text will always be a good thing.
We also want to mix things up. Since we want to have a lot of pages, some will use meta tags, others won't.
Sometimes we'll just have our main keywords in the titles, sometimes 2 keywords sometimes 3.
We'll have long and short page titles.
We'll make long pages and short pages.
We want to keep changing patterns and styles, while still considering the principles of SEO.
But the key is really numbers.
Ask yourself 3 questions:
1 Of all the pages indexed in the SEs, how many of them are your's?
2 Of all the links indexed by the SEs, how many of them point to your pages?
3. What are you doing to increase #1 and #2?
-Boom boom boom boom.
