"Introductions...."
|
Please say hello and tell us a little about yourself... My name is Kurt. I grew up in Colorado and have spent the last 25 years moving from S. Cal to Las Vegas to Colorado to Las Vegas to Colorado, back to Las Vegas and back to Colorado...and on and on.
In my 20's and 30's, I was a "migraint cab driver", driving a cab in Denver, San Diego, Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe...I couldn't afford round trip tickets to take a vacation so I just moved. Then I realized that when I was in 2nd grade and the teacher asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I know I didn't respond "a hack!" (Hack is slang for cab driver)...So in my late 30's I went back to school to learn computer stuff. Right now, I'm living in the Colorado high country and have deer, elk and bears in the yard almost every day...It's the "anti Las Vegas". I like sports and follow my Colorado home teams, so when they are on TV, my support is slower than at other times. Your turn...
-Boom boom boom boom.

Hi All, I'm Ed. I was born in Malaysia. Currently, I live in Vancouver, Washington with my wife and son (Rachel and Elliott). We are expecting our second son in January 2008. I have always been around technology. When I was kid and living overseas we had one of the first Apple IIe knockoffs! It was called an Orange! Didn't know any better back then about copyrights and stuff. We are fulltime Christian missionaries and Internet Marketers also. My wife also has a jewelry busy. We are working to be able to have a fulltime income from IM. So far (6 years on the web) we have been unsuccessful. However, things are picking up. Anyways. Welcome to all. Pay attention to Kurt. He know what he's talking about! Hey Kurt, do they have any good buffets where you live Blessings of Jesus be upon you all, Ed |

I guess I'm after "the kid." (Sorry, Ed, just had to. LOL) Was born in TX but grew up in SoCal, primarily San Diego (no, never had Kurt's taxi while there). A decorated VN combat vet from the "We Were Soldiers" unit, I hit school after discharge. I became a airplane/helicopter flight instructor, obtained the Amateur Extra ham license and squirreled away a doctorate and a law degree (but never took the Bar Exam!) First computer was a Vic-20. Now, I build my own PCs, whenever needed. Was an original Warrior and that's the way I found Kurt and the Bombers. I have everything that Kurt's released (including a couple he hasn't!). I quickly saw that his Bombers were lightyears ahead of the "pack." So, I stuck. I currently live in Guadalajara, Jalisco, MX, with my wife, Rosana, who's from here, and Skipper, my Goffin Cockatoo. I love living down here. And, yes, it's DIFFERENT!! Currently spend most of my time on my Harley, which I'm selling. Gonna build a hot VW Trike! Some would call it "old age." I just enjoy the "second childhood." The third one will be OUTSTANDING, too!! LOL I have found that being a "bomber" has given me many true, deep-connected friends. Kurt's at the top of that list. When you meet him, you'll love him! Just don't approach him as a "guru." I think he hates that. He's the most personable individual you'll ever meet. As are most of the bombers. Welcome Aboard the fastest and most intriguing journey you'll probably ever take. It's a maddening, yet fun-filled ride. John |

Hi Everyone, My name is Rony, but I go by Ron here. I live in Houston, Tx and have lived here for the past 26 years. I moved from New York, Ny when I was 9, so I went to high school and University here in Tx. My specialty is comp sci, so when I learned about the bombs, it was only natural that I was drawn to them. They have made a huge difference in my online experience. Ron

Hi Guys, I'm Mary, and I was originally from Phila, PA. We were much like Kurt moving around lol. We finally ended up in NJ when I was in High School. Iplayed The Barrie sax and still do. I got into the horse business after graduation, and traveled up and down the east coast until around 1989, and then landed in Rockport Indiana and went into the bodyshop business. I painted cars there for about 8 yrs. and went back to college at U of E. A few years later, I got into ministry and started undergrad in Ohio. I am in New Springfield, Ohio for now, but expect to be reassigned next year. I never had a computer until I went back to college, but I was a quick study. I started my online business around 99' and am still going strong. And yes, John is right! Since I joined the Bombers I've been on one h*ll of a ride! I've learned more and profited more since I met Kurt a year or so ago, and some of these other clowns (sorry guys). If you haven't noticed, they left a heck of a lot of valuable information in the forum for people like me....thanks gentelmen, I wouldn't be where I am at now with out that info and other help! I love discovering new things, ministry, computers, meeting new friends like the Bombers, and fishing...especially for some good trout and big game fish. Oh, I also like the Indians (it's a shame they lost the Penant!), and some good solid NCAA basketball. If I have a good tip for you, it would be to tell the newer people to study the New and older posts, pay attention to what Kurt and the older members tell you, and have fun! Mary

My name is Bill and I'm an Alcoholic -- Oops wrong forum !! My name is Bill and google drives me to drink at times I live in Bonnie Scotland. I am fairly new at all this and some of it just flies over my head, however I will stick at it. Have a few of the Tuelz software and love it, easy to use and does stuff that I could never otherwise be able to do. On one site I have had for about a year, I have only ever made one page for it, ZZ Tuelz adds one new page a day. Google has it listed and I get hits from it. Never ever done any promotion to it, just for an experiment. Keep up the good work Kurt, your ideas never cease to amaze at times. Billboy2

LAST EDITED ON Nov-14-07 AT 12:15 PM (PST) Hi,I'm Roger, AKA ExRat amongst other things. I grew up in the centre of England, not far from Shakespeare's 'gaff'. And UB40 and Steel Pulse I spent my school years as a practising comedian which meant that I spent my 'rat' years 'seeing the world'. In other words I had hundreds of different jobs - had a great time but didn't get weighed down with too much ambition and progression. I did try a bit. I kind of lived the rock star lifestyle - just without the rock. And then I became a dad and things had to change a little. I made some progress and became an ExRat (in the building trade), but unfortunately this coincided with a 'few bumps in the road' in other areas - mainly due to oafishness on my part. I eventually packed in the building business and jumped on the internet, about four years ago. I'm still oafing around the internet a bit at present but it's fun. I noticed Kurt and his wisdom over at warriors a long time ago. In a place stuffed full of (ahem) let's say 'marketers' the unassuming but wise people stand out a mile. Likewise Mary To finish my tale - just under a year ago I decided to uproot myself from the centre of England and move to the seaside. It's been a wise move (a change is as good as a rest) having to make new friends, seeing and doing new things and experiencing a different lifestyle. I have a view of the sea over my monitor and I have even more time to devote to my internet business. But I'm keen to capitalise on this period by being extremely productive and hopefully successful. I have big plans for how to enjoy my life in the future ( (whispers - a house in Perth, Australia - citizenship there and a surf board) and I have a wonderful son that I need to impress and I'm happy and ready to spend the time now 'busting my ass' (borrowed Americanism) in order to pave the way. Hence, my presence here, now. Thanks for having me. |

Hello everyone, My name is Gil. I have been around the Bombers since the very beginning. Years ago I was a very active bomber, then for reasons I will not elaborate on I left. I recently began coming around again. I have one hosting exchange and partner and may exchange again soon. I am originally from New York city -- Spanish Harlem to be exact-- but have lived in the Virginia suburbs for the past 8 years. I was making money following Kurt's lead and using the dombombs. I own most of the Tuelz but have yet to begin making any cash. So, I am going to act like a newbie, shut my mouth, listen and learn. Thanks for letting me share Gil Sports moderators wanted. Hi all! Ok I have been here officially for a few weeks but have not done any post, so here's my first post Christopher here, from the sunny island of Singapore. I have been working on internet marketing for about a year now. Been a frequent visitor of warriorforum, I always see Kurt's name popping up during seo discussion. But unfortunately I always find it hard to understand him hahaha... Saw the wso on fatbomb, I was hesitant to join, but after hearing all the good stuffs about here from dear friend Mary, I decided to take the plunge. I'm already building sites myself over the past few months, and hope to learn more about seo and traffic generation here. Just put up my first fatbomb, hope to see good results very soon!! Hi. My name is Sandra and I am so very thankful to have seen Kurt's latest wso for the Bomb Squad. I have tried to read and understand what Kurt posts at the warrior forum but it was over my head. With this opportunity to learn at the feet of the master, so to speak, I just couldn't pass it up. I live in Colorado and have for the last 22 years with a one year hiatus in Pennsylvania. I try to forget that year. Right now, I live east of Pueblo on a farm running a retirement home for 4H livestock projects now the kids are grown and see the deer, coyotes and other wildlife daily. Before this we lived in the Wet Mountains of southern CO at almost 10000' in a log cabin off the grid and saw a lot more. Before that it was in the Black Forest outside C. Springs. Best job I had outside the home was working for NASA on the space shuttle. Was there for the first four launches before moving to CA to help build the west coast space port for the AF. It never got off the ground there but by that time we were in CO working on other programs. Due to the move east to PA and what was happening at that time, I ended up staying home with the kids and that's where I stayed. Been online forever seems like but only started trying to make money online the last few years. |

Greetings, My name is Bob and I just joined the group with the expectation of learning and profiting. There are a few people at the Warrior forum of whom I always stop to read their posts....Kurt is one of them.In 1999 I had a midlife crisis and instead of getting a new gal and a convertible I got a computer and grew a beard. I am still happy I chose the latter I poked around for several years till I had enough information to get a couple of websites on the first page of Google put some affiliate links up and was off to making money....I loved it! I was averaging around $1000 a month with a couple of sites and thought I was really something. This went on for about 3 years....I just added content and link exchanges weekly and all was well. Then I joined the Warrior Forum and realized I was playing with peanuts compared to those guys. I was getting ready to vamp up my business when Google had their second dance and slapped my sites to the ground, never to return. I survived their first big update but not the second. In 2006 I committed to make 100 adsense sites....8 a month was doable for me. My mistake was since I was not building black hat sites but was using different templates, headers, genuine articles, etc. that Google would not have a prob with it so I built them all under one domain. Guess what? Google had a problem with it in March of this year and deindexed my domain which deindexed the other 99 sub domains. Sent in two reinclusion request to no avail. Since then I have tried several wso money making deals without success... thats not to say the program did not work but that it didn't work for me. I am needing direction to get back to where I was in making money on the internet. I live for passive and residual income I saw Kurts offer on the WSO and have read enough of his posts to know he would tell me the truth. Tell me anything...just tell me the truth...point me in the right direction and I will do it.....I want that search engine traffic that produces passive, residual money...I want to be like Mary in regards to making money Looking forward to the journey! Regards, Bob |

Aloha, My name is Ernie and I joined this group recently after being a sometime poster, but voracious reader of everything in Kurt's primary Tuelz forum. I also own and use (at some level) most of his Tuelz. My continuing day gig is designing and implementing data warehouses and data marts for a Fortune 50 retailer. We live in a suburb of Minneapolis, so you can probably guess who that retailer might be. I have been an "internet marketer" since May of 2005 when I convinced a now partner in one of our businesses to write a men's divorce guide. We sell 125-175 of these ebooks a month since rolled out and are about to take it off-line to a much larger audience. We also developed a women’s ebook we rolled out in June of 2006 and sold that site in September of this year to focus on the expansion of the men's ebook through off-line channels and higher priced/better value physical products. My wife and I also have an IM business. She’s a writer of dog books (how nice for me), so we market four of her ebooks right now on various sites. She writes and I create the web infrastructure and marketing acumen. We also have a few travel content sites, since other than dogs (and tortoises for me) travel is our other passion. The little time I have left is soaked up by our almost 18 year old daughter and year round fast pitch softball, spring and fall soccer, and help with homework. My goal is to develop a large enough passive income to leave my day gig at some point in the next year or two and spend the coldest 5-6 months of the year on Kauai. If anyone can help me get there - it’s Kurt. All the best, Ernie

Hi everyone, Let me start off wishing every one here a "Happy New Year" My Name is Tom Eleam. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh until my 17th birthday and moved to Washington D.C.. Lived in Washington for about twenty years or so working mainly in resturants and food businesses. Got married when I was 19 or so I have three Grown Daughters and eight grandchildren the oldest is 20 years old and the youngest is 4 years. Been married for 23 years and divorced now. Moved from Washington D.C. back in the 80's to Las Vegas and lived there until 5 years ago and moved back to Baltimore MD. Due to personal and health reasons I took a long hiatus about two years and now I am back. I didn't fair well in IM as I was completely new to the game. I have learned a lot from Kurt and the other old time bombers here. I am going to pick up the pieces and move onward. I always believed in the saying "Winners never Quit...Quiters never win". I have had my share of problems, heartaches but always, always look forward. For those new here. Never give up oh you're going to have some failures, but don't look at it as such. Heck if you remember you're basball history...Babe Ruth was the home run king he also was the number one in strike outs. Every time I get discourged I would think of my Favorite President Abe Lincoln. He failed so many, many times and later in life became the 16th President of USA. What realy turned me around is the movie "the Pursuit of Happyness" Will Smith plays Chris Gardner a true story. If you ever need to be inspired or motivated this movie will help. I am going off on another track so to get back on with my introduction. I am 65 years young and will be 66 next month. Currently living off Social Securty they bumped me off disability when I turned 65 and placed me on retirement. I work part time for Domino's pizza delivering Pizza have been doing that for the past two years. I have had a few health set backs the past couple of years which put my IM on hold. So I am going to give it a go again. Not sure which way to go as yet. Any how it's good to be back. Tom |

Hi Everyone A prosperous New Year to you all. Ian Sneddon here. UK born and based. Lived all over the UK at one time or another. Married twice, have one son and 3 grandchildren. On my own for longer than I care to think about. Have had most of the Tuelz for nearly 3 years and never really made the use of them that I should have. I've decided it's time to change that and hence my presence here. I've absorbed a lot from the previous posts from MBH but I just never seem to get going. I now have a 'finite' time limit on making this work, otherwise I'll be 'sleeping rough', sometime in the next 6 months. I have the 'monetisation' end worked out, I just need to drive 'traffic' which I'm unable to buy, currently. From what I've read so far, the various strategies here should help significantly. I'm willing to 'pitch-in' and help in any project that can help the membership overall. Looking forward to working with you all Kind regards Ian |

Hi Everyone, I'm Matt - and I'm a Canadian who's currently living in Central America. I've been making my living full-time off the web for 4 years... (Making money online for 6). For me, SEO is a small part of my operations -- but it's becoming more and more important. I think everyone here is pretty "blessed" to have Kurt as a teacher. The guy is a genius in SEO. I'm here to help... PM me if you need some advice or something, Matt |

Hi, my name is Steve and I am from the UK. Having been involved with various IM stuff since early 2005 I have realised that up until now I have just been playing and it is time to take this to a new level. I was inspired by a few of Kurt's posts over at Warrior and the reccomendations from others about the bomb squad and decided to join (no-brainer really).. I have been aware of Tuelz over the past year but have never used any of them up until now. I look forward to learning, experimenting, earning and hopefully will become a valuable contributor as well. For all of us new bombers here could someone reccomend the best place to start in this forum. I am not asking for a blueprint to success or anything but just a pathway through this. Is there a thread that covers where to start for new bomb squad members already? |

Each month, beginning on the 20th (which is today) we'll cover different Tuelz and Bombs and how to apply them to the general over-all plan. Look for the monthly downloads on teh 20 of each month...I'll have Jan. 20 downloads up in the next few hours...

The best thing to do is read the links Kurt recommended but also to jump in. There is so much information that it could be overwhelming. Find the one thing you have some familiarity with and expound on it using techniques and tuelz offered here. And if you post a question and do not get a reply do not take it personally, everyone is doing there own thing. I post questions that some times do not get answered but you'd be surprised, over time you will find the answers yourself. Dont get me wrong people are, for the most part, helpful its just that there is an abundant of info here and everyone is working on there own stuff. Another idea might be to join one of the teams Kurt sets up once in a while. You will be assigned a specific area and as a result will be forced to learn. Good luck! Gil Sports moderators wanted. Hi Steve, Gil is speaking for himself...I don't always answer his questions because he makes a habit of asking questions that have already been answered. As he said, he finds the answers, which is my point. Another reason I may not answer is if a person has a long history of "user error". I've spent a lot of time over the years answering Gil's questions just to have it turn out to be an over-sight on his end. There's been a number of times when I've paid my tech support expert Kirill more money to help than Gil paid for a product, only to find out the problem is "user error", which he eventually figures out. Gil, sorry to make this "public". However, I don't appreciate you telling folks I don't answer questions and am pressed into a response. The truth is, I don't answer all of YOUR questions, mainly because a very high percentage of your questions have already been answered, or I have to pay Kirill only to find out that the problem is on your end. This is something that has gone on for years and isn't an isolated situation. So in the future if a question of your's is ignored it is because it's already been answered...
-Boom boom boom boom.

Hi. I'm Jean Rennick. I'm Canadian, born and bred in Windsor, Ontario. My day job is as a business intelligence specialist at a car manufacturer in Dearborn, MI. My first computer was also a Vic-20 And in Grade 9 I wrote my first essay (on Prohibition) on my 4mhZ PC! I've been online in one form or another since the days of BBS', and I've been mucking around in internet marketing since mid '05. I have seen enough success to keep me in it, but not enough to make much of a difference in my financial situation. I've been muddling through the forum, and the tuelz this afternoon, and to say I'm overwhelmed is a bit of an understatement. At first I was trying to figure out how to integrate this into my existing VRE, and I've come to the decision that I'm just going to start from scratch, and see what happens. (Of course, I have no idea what that means.) Being in IT, I'm fairly well versed with x/HTML, CSS, PHP, etc. so if there's anything I can do to contribute, let me know. Thanks to Kurt for providing such a great opportunity. |

Hi Jean,
Welcome to the Bomb Squad kid! Yes, reading this much techie stuff all at once can have that effect on people lol. BUT, don't let it get to you. Kurt has been kind enough to break everything down in steps, including video tutorials. Just take it one step at a time, and you'll be a pro before long. Btw, hyperpower (Chris) and I are reworking some of our older VRE sites with the bombs and tuelz, and it is working out fine for us. So, you may want to rethink the part about starting over from scratch. If you already have content on the sites, a good head start on indexing, etc ..., why redo them? What you could do is put up a Fatty search box on each site, and use BlogBomb for pheeds at the bottom of your sites. If your content on the sites aren't on a rotator and are static pages instead, you could also put in some kind of a directory right below the Fatty search box using related keywords, and then keep your articles in the nav bar if that is where they are linked to. The Pheeds could be from some of your other related sites so you can link them together. If I were you, I'd start with Kurt's threads on intro to Fatty, Intro to BlogBomb, Creating Fatty Pages, and his thread on linking strategies. This way you get the basics. Oh, and don't forget, you can always ask questions either on the specific threads or by PM. Have fun and grow lots! Mary

34. "Hi all - back online now"
|
Hi everyone - I know many of you from the "old days" around here, and there are quite a few new names too. Good to see you all. I've been online very little since last year, and really it was tapering off a lot in 2006 too. I got burned out (and frankly, disgusted) with IM in particular, but also with the internet and computers in general, after being in that line of work for 25 years. I needed to rest & make a change. I decided to take a regular job that I think will be secure, so I re-trained at a community college and am now working as a pharmacy technician in a local hospital. Fun, interesting work that won't make me rich, but it pays the bills so I can return to IM in a part-time and hopefully more stress-free way! My own online plans are to generally build quality handwritten content sites either for myself or to flip. Monetization initially through affiliate products & eventually my own in chosen markets. I've scanned through a lot of the threads here, and many of the strategies are just as applicable to quality sites as they are to RSS-based sites. That's just my personal choice though - for some odd reason I actually want to write these days... I will likely also offer low-cost membership sites (non-IM) and perhaps some data collections in the style of Oddity Software. I have a couple of rhetorical and speculative posts to make in the off topic thread just to start things off. Once I get up to speed around here I hope to have some other things to contribute. Thanks, Jeff Join the MadBomber VIP here...

Hi all .. wow some old faces and some new And Kurt, you left Vegas? I'm Isobel, I'm a Londoner living in Kent (UK) and I was a MadBomber for quite while. About a year ago my focus got split in too many directions and I too burned out and took a complete break from IM. Now I'm kind of regretting not renewing all those amazing domain names! I think I have every tool Kurt put out up to a year ago except the very first limited Bomb scripts that were taken off the market before I heard of them. I followed a Hubpages link back to the Warriors and there was a post from Kurt - a voice of sanity (well ok, it's all relative ) in a morass of conflicting opinions and the "next new thing". I bought the Squidoo/Hubpages product and something by TimG who I recognised from my Keyword Avalanche days - then realised I really had no idea where to start again. Luckily Kurt emailed me to say hi, and here I am I'm single, I teach accounting, number and communication part-time at a further education (16 ) college and my other addiction is Second Life. I believe we create everything in our experience by law of attraction and using that knowledge I have gone from being a City-based corporate workaholic with a 4 hour commute to working 2.5 days a week locally and keep the same standard of living. My goal is to free my Inner Gypsy, cos I can imagine no better life than travelling the world, staying in the best hotels and just doing whatever feels like the most fun. I still have some old sites up and my Adsense, SearchFeed and Revenue Pilot accounts and I just got accepted for the Ebay affiliate programme. I'm going to go step by step this time and not try to do everything at once. Like Jeff, I have the urge to write again so I guess that's where my gold sites will come in. Ok I talk too much Looking forward to working with you all ... Isobel |

Isobel, OMG!! You have been missed. I know you don't know me from Adam but you raised a lot of concern when you went MIA over on KA. People were trying every which way to find you again. I was even thinking about you again in the last week, when I stumbled on some old posts, wondering what had happened. I am very glad you are back. Hope you are well rested now. I always enjoyed reading your posts as they were full of insightful information. Hope to reap the benefits of you being in this amazing group. Welcome back. |

LAST EDITED ON Apr-19-08 AT 05:54 AM (PST) Hi all,After reading a few posts here and seeing your joining date It seems you people are really light years ahead and i am standing here only in present!! I think i am too late to enter. Then i said to myself..."hey ..what if you are in 2012 and then see this post by me whose joining date will be Apr 2008" Now that seemed a good situation to be No issues..i can only say this to myself now...i will try hard to catch up. After running into sizeable credit card debts, i finally got stable and started a couple of purely white hat sites which are now looking good.I took too much time to learn many things. Now implementing everything. I know ..it was all my mistake...All so called Gurus were never wrong...but i was. But seeing you people, it seems there is a new definition of SEO. I will start slowly week by week. Hope not to disturb you people with silly thing every now and then and knock at you people's door only when i can't get past the problem trying hard. So here starts my journey...hope you all accomodate me Suman |

Hi Suman... Don't worry about being behind. It's actuall a good time to start, as we're getting ready to start with FatBomb again. Tomorrow (my time), I'll post FatBomb on the Downloads thread, and we'll concentrate on that for the upcoming month. Know it and use it, as it's a very powerful program. Then next month, we'll do BlogBomb and RSS. We'll also have some side projects going on. Don't get overwhelmed and just stick to FatBomb for now, and anything new that interest you. What you should notice is, the FatBomb links at the top of the page will soon be high lighted in Red. Red means that's what we're working on this month. Also pay attention to the threads in Yellow. Those are the on-going, important concepts. Again, don't get lost with all the other stuff, just concentrate on yellow and red threads. Basically, what we try to do here is create as much content as we can, put in as many places as we can, then link to it. Tools and techniques may change, but this basic principle won't.

>i was little intimidated by you IM veterans Cool! I'm an "IM veteran" thanks Suman! Yes, I am a veteran of IM. Been in it for years. Unfortunately, I haven't won yet! Still in the dirt slugging it out. So don't ask me how to make money. I have no clue! Ask me how to build websites that get indexed, some of the tuelz stuff, and some other technical stuff and I have a little clue! Blessings, Ed P.S. If you had called me an "IM Guru" I would write an ebook, create a video and audio and sell it to newbies on how to make money on the internet! Hmmm. Maybe I could do the same thing as an "IM Veteran" ! |

Oops sorry I didn't realise this thread had been updated! Thank you to all for the welcome back We all turn up like bad pennies eventually lol Good to see old and new faces (metaphorically of course). Kurt, you're probably the only person who could call me an "old-timer" and get away with it! Actually you're probably the only person who would dare to. Suman, you won't find a more generous and loyal bunch than the Bombers. This is a very special place with amazing people and Our Esteemed Leader who no doubt often despairs of us but keeps smiling through gritted teeth! lol You can ask anything at all - just make sure it's in the right thread and you'll be fine The best advice I can give you is .. listen to Kurt. He knows his stuff and he shares it generously. Nice to have you with us Isobel |

LAST EDITED ON Apr-23-08 AT 03:55 AM (PST) After reading through the introduction again I finally decided to introduce myself to the rest of the team and say officially "Hello"!I am German at the very far end of my 30s and besides Kurt most probably the only person here who owns a taxi driver licence (I have one for West and East Berlin) I got my licence as a kind of backup when I switched from medical school to media school just in case something might go wrong but I only used it for a couple of month since I was a horrible driver LOL I worked in the media business for quite a while and had even a successful business together with a partner in this area. A couple of years ago after a hospital stay due to a surgery I came home only to find out that out of the blue I had no business anymore since my partner decided to take the whole operation over - still with lots of band aid wrapped around my head I had to see a lawyer, go to court - the whole enchilada and to cut a long story short my career was over and my life changed significantly I tried my luck with the internet, had a nice idea for an online shop, was selling a bunch of webmasterscripts based on my ideas too, doing some seo, ebay, etc etc, but the money I made was not even close to what I made in the media business before. Since I had to cut down my living costs which would have included moving to a smaller apartment (but above all because I couldnt get over the fact that someone was making good money with my idea while my life went downhill) I decided to make a deep cut and left Germany. I handed the online shop over to a friend and it goes without saying that very soon after I left Germany not only my friend including his family!! but also the shop disappeared (and of course my money too) and was never seen again LOL the down site: I had to get a job (the kind of job you can expect living as a foreigner in a foreign country) the good site: I enjoyed living in several countries like Ireland and for a couple of month in the States and live now in the southern part of Europe with lots of sunshine and I met many interesting and nice people during this journey which I wouldnt have met otherwise. I didnt do anything with the internet other than lurking into boards (including this one) and buying the occasional script for almost 2 years but finally started building sites etc again and also updating my knowlege about IM and SEO but still waiting for some success moneywise. Sure it would be nice to hit the jackpot but NOW I am more after the freedom (to live where you want doing what you enjoy which isnt the case at the moment) which comes with this kind of "business" I am dedicated to make this a "success" and appreciate any help I can get to achieve this goal )) P.S. I included even a picture (me with two lovely coworkers) so you will get the picture! LINEZ - THE BEST TUELZ PERIOD! http://www.tuelz.com |

Hi All, I'm Charles. I grew up in the Southern US. Been online since '91, been building websites since '93, been a member of the WF since the old uni-sol days. I've been using RSS feeds for a few years now, and am ready to take them to the next level. I'm obviously new here, and have a ton of questions, but I'm going to read the topics that are in line with what I want to accomplish... Anyway it's great to be here! Charles |

Hi Kurt and all, Jason from the UK here. Quick intro, by day I'm an accountant, married with 2 kids, the youngest being 5 months old, which is a good excuse for staying up late on the PC before the night feed Been doing the IM thing for about nearly 18 months , very on and off to start. Doing OK for the hours I put in but now want to step it up big time. usually pick things up pretty quick, but you'll have to excuse the odd daft question. Self taught HTML, and more recently CSS & PHP. Been using RSS, but not any intricate linking. Hope to speak to you soon. Jason PS. Where the hell to start amongst all this info... ? |

Hi Jason,
Glad to have you here. Probably the best place to start is to get BlogBomb installed on a domain, if you have your own hosting. Create a category for your own RSS pheeds. If you ever create a blog, facebook profile page, forum profile page, youtube, etc, anything that generates an RSS pheed, add that pheed to your BlogBomb. This will prepare you for cross-linking in the future.

Hi guys, I joined on Kurt's birthday Warrior WSO, but forgot to save the wso text so I'm not too sure what I actually bought into. I have been hearing about this membership for ages and just never seemed to be around when it was open for new members. So anyway, I got in but what next? As for me, I'm a graphic designer and copywriter living in London. Probably know a few of you from the WF and other places. Glad to be here, the forum alone looks like it has some real nuggets of gold. Phil |

Hi Phil Ian here from Ely in Cambridgeshire. Welcome to the Bombsquad, you've found a huge resource for site building and linking in an SEO friendly manner. Where to start? I'd suggest you get hold of the Tuelz package and learn how they work first, in streamlining the process of site building and content distribution (via RSS). There are threads detailing how to use all the Tuelz in their basic format. Once you are comfortable with those, then you can move on to more advanced strategies, many of which are detailed within this section of the forum. Learn the philosophy of the Bombing process in creating networks of interlinked sites to promote your 'Gold' sites. There are threads detailing this process within the Bombsquad pages. The threads at the top of the Forum, in yellow , orange and red will provide some guidance in this process. As part of the membership here, Kurt provides additional resources (BlogBomb, Fatbomb ZZ Tuel etc.) each month, to further assist the creation and distribution of content, with the objective of creating a massive network of SEO friendly linking, which will direct link juice and love towards your money sites. You'll see the term 'Gold' sites used quite a bit. They are your primary money sites and are fed the link juice from your Tin and Silver sites. See the Linking thread at the top of the Forum. You will inevitably have questions as you go through the material here. Just remember to ask your questions in the correct thread, so that your question and the answers you receive can be found by others who may have similar questions in future. Learning to use the Tuelz should keep you busy for a few days and should raise a few questions. One thing to bear in mind is that we are not striving for perfection, just productivity. There is no absolute right or wrong way of doing things. The objective is to produce as many different combinations of factors and parameters to provide the SE's with any and every combination that they may require. Some they may love, some they may not - you don't care because the objective is not to supply them with one aspect that they like but with every aspect from every angle, so that regardless of how they change their algos, you have it covered somewhere. Bearing in mind the above, you will, over the course of several months, receive a number of different resources and Tuelz, which will greatly assist you in the process of producing this wide-ranging and all-encompassing approach to generating sites, links and ultimately, money. I hope that helps you to get a start on your 'Bombing' career. Kind regards Ian

Hello Ian, thank you for your generous and helpful reply. I was born and raised in Essex, just across the border from you in Cambridgeshire. I fear I have stumbled at the first hurdle though! I donwloaded the Teulz (tuelz2.0_ltd) and unzipped it. It seems to contain about 30 mpegs, each is very small and none play. Their is also an application icon called tuelz which, when opened, appears to run but I have no idea what it is doing or how it is to be used. I read a reply to another newcomer - which suggested he begin with BlogBomb; but I have yet to find where I can download that. Any help, links, etc would be much appreciated - I'm not a newb to IM, seo or web technologies - just to this site, this technology and the concepts you use. Best regards, Phil |

The extensions were given years ago, before Vista came out. The are plugins for Tuelz.exe. You need to start Tuelz.exe THEN access each Tuel using your browser. Think of photoshop plugins, you need to start photoshop to run them from inside Photoshop...Same with Tuelz. Once you click on the Tuelz.exe icon, the program should open in your default web browser, preferably IE. >I read a reply to another newcomer - which suggested he >begin with BlogBomb; but I have yet to find where I can >download that. The download link to BlogBomb and other scripts/programs was sent in the email I send right after I got your order. Send an email to lvha@aol.com to let me know if you didn't get this email and I'll resend it.

Hello Kurt, many thanks for clearing that up. It simply hadn't crossed my mind to access them through a browser - if it was in the detail somewhere I must have blanked it from my mind entirely. How technology has changed! I will try that as soon as I get home this evening. As for the email with scripts/etc I have sent you an email asking to resend. I guess it must have got lost somewhere along the line. I guess that's one thing that never does change! Many thanks again, Phil |

It seems like a while since someone introduced themselves here. Well, I'll try good forum etiquette and do my bit. First of all, I love this forum. Kurt, don't even think about closing it down. So many of the stuff here is way over my head, but I'm loving the learning curve. Anyways, I've been involved in IM for about 12 months now. Definitely haven't set the world on fire, but looking to do so this year. My main strategies have been monetizing 'gold' sites with Adsense and clickbank affiliate products. I have a few good pieces of online real estate and just looking now for ways to really get that traffic in. I doubt I'll be the person answering many questions for the first few months here, but I hope that will change over the next few months. Till then, I'm the other guy.Oh, I live in London, England. See you around. Wiehahn p.s. Kurt, I’m still having some issues on opening Tuelz in my browser (for some reason or another). Any idea why this may be the case?

Hey guys! I originally purchased some of the original bombs back in 04. This was when fatty, cherry, pagebomb were getting noticed. Then the forum went private and I decided to work on my own network of adult sites. Well then the big google bang happened and pagerank was no longer so important, and I lost pretty much my whole network. I gave up on extreme SEO for a while and just built minor whitehat sites. Started working, and didn't have much time for this. Well now I have time. I am ready to use this full arsonel that has expanded SO MUCH since I've been here last! The tuelz look amazing, and the new scripts are phenomenal! Now I just have to make my plan for this month on how to get my health and fitness money site into the serps. Just been doing the regular, article writing, link trades, buying, blogging. I realize its time to re-build my network. In my hayday in adult I owned 150 domains and was raking nearly 10G a month. Imagine having that stripped from you, sucked! I'm ready to get back in the game. Start mainstream, and work on new projects all the time. |

Fatty and Pagebomb still are useful, but CherryBomb just isn't what it used to be. The smaller PPCs just got clobbered by Adsense and just can't provide the results they used to. The key is to keep expanding your network, planning it in a way to automate and organize things as much as possible. And the key to expanding is the ability to create content to build sites, blogs, articles, etc.
-Boom boom boom boom.
