And why counting "keyword density" is, and has been for a long time, a waste of time.Have you ever read a Guru's site that suggested that you take countless hours and come up with the keyword density of on a page...Then on another page tell you that "it can take a few months to be indexed" and then, on another page, tell you "search engines change the ranking forumlas often"?
Let's put these three concepts together:
1. Study keyword density for high ranking pages. Create pages based on this keyword density. Submit pages.
2. Wait to be indexed.
3. Search engines change their formula often.
What happens if the search engine changes it's forumula in the time between when I submitted my site and the time it is indexed?
My question: What will the keyword density be AT THE TIME my page is actually indexed?
No one knows the answer to this. Why study pages that may or may not have a high ranking by the time your pages are listed?
Sure, know that you need to have relevent words on your pages, but why worry about exactly times the number one page for "keyword" uses the word "keyword"?
Isn't looking at a high ranking page now, sort of like looking at the stars? What we see of a star actually happened millions of years ago and took the light that long to get to us.
Isn't studying keyword density similar? We're not look at the facts in "real time"...
